Description
My musketman got another layer!
I made him a cloak from brown wool lined with a white winter blanket (most likely cotton), dagged on both shorter sides and reinforced with a decoratice stitching all around the edges (a bit inspired by this cloak ). It is closed with a rather substantial ring fibula on the shoulder, but somehow my hair covered it on every picture
The whole thing can be used as a sleeping blanket in a pinch. And, if everything goes as planned, it will also look good rolled up and straped to the knapsack.
As far as I can tell, this model of cloak has been around for some time, so even if my attire is relatively late medieval inspired, I thought it feasible to give my soldier an oldfashioned but versatile cloak.
Also, I got myself a new larp dagger, and I could not help but posing with that one
