Been wanting to draw Odin Sphere fanart for a while; that game is so good @o@;Many thanks to Elda for the help with photoshop

I want to begin by saying that this is a beautiful piece. It follows the artistic style of the game closely and the color choices are just flawless. I find that the pose and expression carry the same feel and grace that Gwendolyn carries throughout the game. I give the "Vision" a strong 5/5 because it just flows. It rolls with the same ball as the game's art and is simply appropriate in style and flair. I feel the same emotions and spirit from this that I do from the art of the game itself.
As for originality, while I have nothing but love for this piece and the techniques and colors employed, I have to admit that I feel like I've seen the pose before. Not in a way where it is completely unoriginal, but more in a way such as... in a sea of Gwendolyn fanart, it will not be the only one where she is floating in a violet sky with her wings spread. The pose is gorgeous, but not exactly unique. For that, I can only rate the originality as 3/5. Don't get me wrong, it is still a gorgeous piece that will stand out for its quality alone, but the pose itself is somewhat bland. Beautiful and graceful, but still not entirely striking.
The technique is handled beautifully. It has the same glazed paint feel that the original art style has. It is very smooth and the colors are very soft. The feathers seem to shimmer and the reflections on the metal are just gorgeous. There is very little that I can say about the actual technique that isn't positive, but the only thing that really stands out is her right hand, which seems a little unfinished compared to the rest of her skin. Nevertheless, the rest of the feathers and even the clouds in the background have a very supernal feel. I will proudly call this a 5/5. It's handled beautifully.
For the impact, I'm going to have to say 4.5/5... I would love to give it a 5/5 because that is how I personally feel about its impact, but like I mentioned in the originality part, this won't be the only piece with the game's traditional color scheme and the "heavenly" pose of Gwendolyn. This is kind of a situation like the many Annunciations by many artists in the Renaissance. There will be other pieces featuring Gwendolyn like this and one can line them up to literally have a beauty pageant. (This one would have my vote, for the record.) On the positive, this is a piece that will jump out at you because it is both beautiful and handled with skill. Even its thumbnail will jump out because of the rich, deep colors and overall beauty.
If I had to describe this piece in one word, it would be "Glorious".

I love the use of colors that you put into this. True, the color scheme is already built into the character, but I think you really made it your own here. The transition from the light blue to purple was done wonderfully. The background painting is also wonderful, and blends seamlessly into the color theme of the piece. Choosing to position her at an angle gives real dynamism to the piece as well-- however, it's almost lost when you see her face. Her expression is kind of bland, and I don't think it matches the fierce-ness of what she's doing at that moment-- which would be the only critique I have really. Well done.
