This looks like it has potential to be an illustrative adaptation of Richard Adams' Shardik, without the cowboy and the horse and all other things relating to them. Mr. Deskridge, if you could do an illustration of one or any of the scenes of Shardik involving the titular bear and the main character Kelderek, you could take out all the greenery of the forest in this art and change it to one recently burned by a forest fire. Shardik the titanic bear, similarly humongous than that giant bear you illustrated, stands tall in the midst of the destruction's aftermath, searching the ruins of his scorched former home, roaring distressingly. From afar, somewhere among the litter of felled trees and charred bushes, hides Kelderek, who has just recently discovered the giant bear looming over the debris of wood, bark, leaves and rubble. I did not take this particular scene from out of the book itself, but that's a scene I can imagine, that I am conceiving from my fancy if I were ever to read Richard Adams' book Shardik. Anyhow, this is marvelous work It continues to further fuel and inspire my imagination of larger or gigantic monster animals. If I am to write a story concerning a giant animal, it would be one based on the urban legend of the rumored Bergman's bear, a cryptid bear that is reportedly as large and enormous as a semi-truck (or maybe full-on or over the size of a pick-up truck) and is claimed to reside in the Kamchatka peninsula, regionally situated at the far end of Eurasian continent in Far East Russia. It might also be just an overgrown Kamchatka brown bear with different darker fur color and/or skin pigmentation. It is also called Irkuiem by some local Kamchatkan natives residing in some settlements somewhere in Kamchatka. It's quite an interesting idea, don't you think? I hope you might be interested, good sir

Awesome! The bear's face looks strange, though. I have to say I love the horse! Also, I think you could do better on the cowboy. But that horse, amazing!

If it were real, it would be truly terrifying! That pistol would stop that bear like it would stop a terminator.

Chuckle. Normally, I'd say a .45 Long Colt would do... in this case, however... Hi, Yo, Silver! Away! (Fast!)
