I love to look back on older drawings and see their flaws (as it means I'm improving) Honestly I feel like this with my last WIP of this piece: fav.me/d739aoh gah, I now see so many flaws in her face now!
I've put so many hours into this piece already (think of a number then double it) its a very personal and quite emotional for me, and I want to do it justice. It's coming along though

I always feel bad for favouriting your deviations, I feel insensitive, like i'm "missing the point" of your work and it makes me feel bad, which is the reason why i try to avoid favouriting most of the time. I feel like i owe an apology for doing so, even though I'm almost certain I don't.

Inspired by looking at your work....it's time than I've to stop drawing with the mouse and I've to start drawing on a tablet with my left hand (I'm lefty). How is the Wacom Cintiq Companion tablet? What is your advice about it?

Photoshop CS6 it looks like. I recommend PaintTool SAI if your just starting out though. PS is a lot more advanced.

There's a program called Jing by Tech Smith that allows you to take screen shots if you want to try that out I use it and it works great

you could try the Wacom stylus for the iPad. it's 99$ and it has the same pressure sensitivity as the companion from what I've heard. www.wacom.com/en/us/creative/i…

on a side note there are also other pens out there that do the same. you could try googling pressure sensitive pens for tablets. Your looking for pens with 2048 levels of pressure sensitivity.
