I struggle with this nearly everyday. For a while I was driving my mom's car so I wouldn't act on my urges, because I didn't want to cost her money.
I recently got my own car. It's taken a lot of will power, but I think I'm starting to get past it

Trust me, ST, when you learn to drive, the only urge you'll have will be to drive faster and leave it all behind, not crash it. We all get the idea sometimes, when going over a high bridge or around a tight curve; what if I just. . . let the wheel go? But the desire to act on it isn't as strong as you'd imagine, even during suicidal lows.

I was forced (reasonably so) to get my permit, and I can't tell anyone...
but I am so scared that I will do the same thing. Make it look like an accident. Just a slippy rainy accident.

I've only been driving for 3 years (had my license for 2 of em now) and I consider myself a good, sensible driver.
But sometimes...just sometimes...(like twice in my lifetime) I think I am playing a racing game (I play a lot of them on PS2). It only lasts about 3 seconds in my head....but it's not good haha

I have been very much down in the past and crashing myself, especially into an oncoming lorry, absolutely crossed my mind more than once.
The fact that you are stopping yourself from learning to drive is more or less proof that you are way too afraid to actually do it. You value your life more than you bargain for I venture to guess...
So by all means, live a little, get some driving experience and enjoy the good part of driving. The freedom it gives you to go wherever your wallet will permit you to drive.

In my town, people are such jackasses that i am sure that one day i will most surely drive into somebody just to cool off all of my anger.
This is one of the reasons i stopped driving for the past 6 months.
I did drive the other days for a short while and i noticed that i don t swear that much or shout as much any more
