Description
I made some masks for an opera, this is the choir. They were meant to be anonymous since they had to act out different things on stage like cliffs, monsters, trees... The opera is called "Witch's Island" or "La liberazione di Ruggiero d ' al isola d ‘Alcina" in the original version.

These masks are made with papier-mache, and covered with gold leaf, sequins, wool knitting, linen fabric and acrylic paint.
