Description And thus I start the summer off with a debut of my One Piece OC Lorelei!

...and a massive artist's block. OTL



I'M SO HAPPY I'M SO HAPPY I'M SO HAPPY I FINALLY FINISHED THIS LOAD OF SH- This literally took forever. What took me longest was probably the skin. Still not satisfied.

Well I recorded a lot of this process on my Livestream Account , so you can check some of my stuff out there. Most of it is just lineart and simple coloring though, as far as I can remember.

I don't know what she's reaching for but I love how it blackens towards the bottom like she's diving into the abyss. Her tail almost reminds me of a Beta fish surprisingly especially along the spine. Amazing highlights in the hair and at the tail. The tail especially looks so delicate and soft, like extremely thin layers of paper. Awesome work.

You're welcome! I've been stalking your gallery for a while, but for some reason I hadn't gotten around to commenting until now, so I figured I should make up for the delay

Well, we've just had our spring contest end, so there isn't anything going right now. We do plan to hold another contest soon though, and one of my co-founders, ~Tenshi-no-Fuu , is holding a Strong World-themed contest at the moment.

I have a lionfish mermaid OC as well! =^w^= But she's 14 and is boyish. She even has the facial features of OP guys. Your OC is very traditional, unlike Corona. But I wanted her to be very different from other mermaids.
Anyways I think she's beautiful. Great work.

Thanks! I've always loved lionfish and mermaids and whatnot, so a lionfish was pretty much my first choice for a mermaid-type OC. And I love OP, but I'm terrible at drawing in Oda's style So for now I'm just going to have to use my own style.
