Oh wow, cell shading is HARD. I always wanted to try it though, so here it is, the first 'serious' cell shading piece!There are too many details in the hair but I couldn't break with my habit of drawing in every strand of hair... I try to keep it simpler next time!
When I first listened to 'Harvest' I was captivated. The music is beautiful and the design oh so pretty (and the color scheme just happened to be full of my favourite colour: orange!).

true about the hair though, if you want to draw "strands" you can try to do the highlighting detailed
and cellshading is SO underrestimated X__X

It was really really HARD to get myself to think in cellshading. I'm really fond of my painterly hair and skin coloration style and had to force it out of my brain to get a move on.
I thought it was easy...haha, was I wrong. I now wholeheartidly believe you that cell shading is hard work.

well you get used to it and you actually learn useful things for painting, too, while doing it xD'
and once ou get used to cellshading it's heaps of fun xD and fast too... i admit xD
