Description This started out as a portrait of Cillian Murphy's character from 28 Days Later and ended up more like an oddly-shaped movie poster. I'm pretty happy with the outcome though. Love the movie.

Nice fanart. Seems like most 28 Days Later fanart is photoshopped screen caps, or chibi comics. This really stands out among those!

Thank you! I actually hate having to call a lot of my work fanart because of what fanart typically looks like. I like to call it original artwork inspired by...

That's a tough question for me. I never really keep track. But I tend to work really slowly. I'm always amazed when I'm looking at something awesome on DA and the person says it only took 3 hours or something. This was probably 20+ if I had to make a guess.

wow, but it sure was worth I take me damn time on my drawings too--though i gotta admit that I can draw very quickly and do a whole detail picture inlike 15-20 min. thats if i really wanted to, I prefer to take my time-n-stuff. Like they say"you cant rush art"

Yeah I feel it was worth it. I'm always trying to find a balance between attention to detail and being more expressive/organic with my illustrations. I end up getting consumed with the details a lot though, still trying to find that perfect balance.

yeah I know exactly what you mean--so far I think I gotten it down real well--I'll put alot of detail and yet make it very disturbing/unique. I'll try to make my pictures look like the characters are suffering/feeling pain. A good example is my "monster sketch"-the one with its face(head) skin being totally twisted and its eyes sewed shut along with its jaw yanked down real hard and then lastly ripped off.
