Description This picture came from the combination of two things: I needed a break from working on final art projects and I wanted to try out my new colorless blender copic marker! But mostly it was the break thing.

I think her Super form is my favorite of all her transformations and outfits. I'm a sucker when it comes to pretty and elegant looking outfits. I know that all those accessories would be totally useless in battle ((not that any of their outfit makes sense for fighting)), but... THEY'RE PRETTY! XD

For the lineart, done in ink. For colors, used copic markers, colorless blender copic marker and a metallic silver copic pen for the stripes on her sailor collar. Slight alteration in photoshop, because my scanner scans colors awfully.

Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon belongs to Naoko Takeuchi.

I don't know if anybody asked it yet, but your style of anatomy drawing has reeeeally thick neck...why is that?

No, many people have told me that. I really hate the thin necks seen in anime, especially on anime girls. So I try to draw more realistic necks. Though sometime the come off as thicker than normal. I get over zealous sometimes.

Oh, I see) Then... just watch over it more. Sometimes your necks are too thick even for the realistic girl. Also, note that her mouth is placed too low, it's on her chin while it should be at that level where her cheeks end. (I'm saying it, looking at myself at mirror ) Her eyes are also confusing: she's, like, looking on the crystal with one eye and on me with another. The whole face expression that way gives a feeling that she is lost and hardly breathing with her mouth.

With her eyes I wanted her to have that soft doe-eyed look. And the nose and mouth always change up place on my people's faces ((though they do tend to sit lower on the face than normal)). I just have to be more consistent.

Also thank you very much for giving a critic on my style! I don't often get people to critic my work mush past "I like it."

The reason of "i like it"-comments is that you do a very sweet coloring and use different and dynamic poses. Your pics are interesting and have plot and sense in them. And if your intention is to mix together anime and realistic styles, you may do some fully realistic art for your learning. That way it would be easier to get constructive feedback, because it's classic and many people understand it and are ready to help.

Man I don't often draw in full realism style. Being an animator I draw cartoon styles all day long. But since my semester is coming to an end, I'm hoping to use summer to take some time off and improve my style with life drawings.

Thank you again for this. It's very helpful.
