Awh! This looks cute! I am no skilled artist but i see a few blue spots where the grass is, maybe you were rushing..? What are those red and white triangles at the corners? Is this like... a framed picture or something? Overall this looks very cute! I cant wait to see you draw more of these cute lil pictures! Even though the mild shaky lines get my attention, i think you were trying to go for a fade in fade out efect on the cute white guy, and maybe you could add a gradient in the sky kinda like Gradien  here. Maybe the colors can be a but duller, because its kinda hard to look at without looking away for a while.. Cetus OUT

So, here's the nice things you did, firstly
The shading does seem to be in the right place, the colors are accurate, the togekiss' expression is very clear, and it's honestly adorable!
The things you could improve on:
As you said in the description that the shading isn't subtle at all, yes.
The grass is a bit too brightly colored. It is also a bit thick, and instead of doing that you could try doing many separate strokes and then simply darkening one side of them and making the other side a bit lighter. Also, I recommend using highlights and shadows instead of just shadows. With just shadows, it dampens the feeling of the area a little bit, so adding some highlights to the tips of their wings and the tops of their heads and the tips of the grass would be nice
Also, you could add some sort of coloration to the sky - Maybe add a patch of slightly blurred, lighter blue? Then maybe a few patches of soft white to look like clouds
Also, I notice the lineart is all at different widths- Try to keep it at about the same width. If there's an area where it needs to taper down and become thinner, that's alright, though!
The corners could be a bit straighter, but it's not too much of a bad thing.

I might give some feedback now that I'm here.

I... unfortunately am not a Pokemon fan, unbelievable, right? So sorry, I'm afraid I don't know any of the Pokemon's names. Is it ok if I just call them butterfly and Pokemon-fairy?
Yep, you are right, maybe you could've put a bit more shading. I'm just saying the bottom shadow on Pokemon-fairy looks a bit weird, I feel like it lacks shading and you could shine in those two some light since it looks like a sunny day.
I think you could've outlined the grass and the corner's designs. Just saying.
And maybe I think you could've put a bit more effort on the corners. What I'm trying to say is, I think they end of the coners look a bit wobbly, maybe you could've tried to have done them straighter.
Apart from that, I love this drawing!
Is it ok if I make a recreation of this with my own style? I will say it was inspired by you and will send a link to this one unless you don't give me permission.

This could be improved though... the shading is a subtle...like u said. Also your lines aren't steady... a common problem for a lot of artist including me. I also think the grass should have been outlined since the rest of it was. Also the squares on the corners don't go good. I know it's Pokémon color and stuff and matches the Pokémon but it doesn't blend well with the blue and green background. I also don't know where the light source is. I see ligh coming from all different places... this looks very good though... there's more up KT it then there are downs... well I can't add all them since I need to leave
