Description
The Return of...KINETICLOPS!
"Destroyed" by the Atomic Island meltdown, the Kineticlops were reduced to their most basic state of existence after the first War of the Monsters. Little more than sentient sparks, they scattered across the country through circuits and powerlines, tiny, harmless, and unseen.
Then the mutagen started spreading; the sparks were drawn to it like moths to a flame. Converging on the same contaminated power plant all at once, they caused a massive power surge that fused them together with the alien energy. Taking form as a new, singular Kineticlops, they began their second rampage bigger and stronger than ever before...

I really like the last skin, much better than the original how is it possible that an electrical Cyclops can take the form of an amphibious monster?

Yeah, I know everyone liked the fish- I didn't really cut him, though. He was going to be his own character. There's a sketch of him and the other new monsters in my Scraps.

I always played as Kineticlops(for the special move) but i never really got
what that fouth skin was ; mabye it was a frog..?
the 'vine' version is a nice change, mabye has something to do with the dead vegon Lol

The fourth skin was a Creature from the Black Lagoon homage. And those are veins, not vines. Think The Crawling Eye.

What if for raptros fourth costume be rodan inspired since raptros is kinda a tribute to him anyway, plus if there would be more emphasis on the wings, like make them bigger or something I dont know. Whatever works, I mean these are awesome drawings.

Thanks for the request, but nah. I'm trying to make all my new skins things that could feasibly be in a WOTM sequel, and since Rathalos belongs to Capcom and the creators of MH, Lightbox Interactive would have to pay them (a lot) for the rights to use him in a game. Probably not a crossover that'd ever happen.

These look great! I kind of miss Fish monster Kineticlops, but the eyeball monster form actually makes a lot more sense - and looks friggin' awesome to boot!

First off, I'm impressed you managed to actually render a not-so-solid monster like Kineticlops so clearly. And the crawling eye direction is a natural choice that I'm surprised Incog didn't go with themselves.
Judging from what Ren and yourself were talking about we both chose to go a different route with Amphibios, which is a relief I admit, I never want to copy anyone intentionally or otherwise.
Anyhow, this is once again awesome. Robo-47 should be a fun time.

I'll add my approval of the Crawling Eye skin. I think that was from Mighty Max way back in the day right?
Anyway, Crimson turned the fish monster thing into a seperate character so it wouldn't surprise me if you did the same though because of that I won't miss it as much in this series. Having all the Kineticlops surge together into a single entity is a good way for him to get back into the game. Perhaps the nightwatchmen is the main personality?

I was thinking more along the lines of the movie, [link] , but Mighty Max did have a monster like this named "Cyclops".
I will be making Amphibios his own, separate character. I wasn't aware that Crimson was doing the same- hopefully our takes on it aren't too similar.
Maybe, but calling it the nightwatchmen might be a bit of a stretch just because I doubt there's any humanity left in there. I could see that creature being the lead mind though, since that Kineticlops was presumably spawned before the ones at Atomic Island.

You could talk to him about it, see where his is going. I think his was a bizzare offshot of the kineticlops that bonded with a reptile or something strange like that. It was a very brief mention of it being sighted.

LOVE IT. The Crawling Eye skin REALLY came out awesome and makes a great replacement for the fish costume. The black one also came out very great...
And now I can not f'n wait for Robo-47! And you know why!
