Description Sinornithosaurus millenii was a dromaeosaurid that lived in Cretaceous China. It lived in the Yixian formation, a place with a diverse fauna, including dinosaurs like Sinosauropteryx, Beipiaosaurus and Yutyrannus, and a likely temperate climate.

Sinornithosaurus was one of the first dinosaurs found with feathers. Melanosomes, the cells that give feathers its colours, have been identified. The feathers were likely yellow, black and reddish-brown in colour.

Skeletal used for reference is by Scott Hartman.

Thanks!

This paper (on page 41 and 42) concluded it was a young S. millenii.
