Description Episode 4

Debut - Dimoradon

Powell, the Hastings, and the military are discussing whether to trust the Tyrannoids. They were eager and wary all in one.

Alan: I say this with all due respect. Have you lost your damn mind?!
Lilian: That was an all due respect?
Powell: Suppose this "Xenorah" reaches full size, then what? Earth is defenseless at that point. Unless....
Alan: Unless what? Use another monster to fight it?
Lilian: But what about the Tyrannoids? They have advanced technology. This could be a once in a lifetime opportunity. If we tell them no, they may take their tech to the Russians instead.
General: We will help the aliens find their parasite. I'm not risking the damage and casualties brought in Houston. But, if they make one wrong move, we put them down.

Later, the Tyrannoids are let in the base, and they are greeted to the humans and their technology.

General: Welcome to our sector. We have decided to give you limited access to our satellites.
Tyrannoid: We thank you for your hospitality.
General: And you have knowledge of your extraterrestrial creature? As in capabilities?
Tyrannoid: The Xenorah has no eyes. Instead, it senses heat through an organ on top of its head. Acid blood that can melt through any known material, an EMP shockwave that disrupts electronics for miles around. It has a secondary set of jaws, sharp claws, a bladed tail, and it's a hermaphrodite.
Lilian: Herma-what?
Alan: He means it reproduces without having sex.
Tyrannoid: Now we will pinpoint the Xenorah's whereabouts.

They combine their technology with the humans. Their range expands as a result, although an abnormal thunderstorm in Florida is not helping.

Powell: Well, that tropical storm is not helping matters.
Lilian: There’s something coming out of the mountain.
Alan: *Taking a closer look* That’s a pterodactyl right there.
Powell: The native people said this was the Thunderbird.

After getting struck by lighting, the new creature, resembling a cross of Pteranodon and Dimorphodon, takes off leaving destruction in its wake, unleashing hurricane winds and lighting strikes from its wings.

Alan: Wait. Guys, that tropical storm. It's moving along with Big Bird.
Powell: That's not possible. No storm moves that fast.
Lilian: Unless it's not a storm.
Alan: Then it must be Dimoradon.
Lilian: Dimoradon?
Alan: A prehistoric relic, just like Stygimorah and Venatus. Plus ancients called it The Storm King.
Powell: It's heading for Miami.

Coincidentally Stygimorah feels the change in the weather, seeing Dimoradon in the clouds. Dimoradon swoops down at Stygimorah. Stygimorah is taken by surprise, seeing Dimoradon, chases after him. They fight in the middle of the storm violently.

Alan: Now if those two go at it, Florida might be underwater. And with an alien parasite on the run...
Lilian: I have an idea, get those two to fight the Xenorah.
Alan: The US general said no.
Lilian: What choice is there? All humanity ever does is destroy what they don't understand.
General: Is there something you like to talk to me about madam?
Lilian: What if the monsters were awakening because they sensed this Xenorah coming?
General: And why do you think that?
Lilian: Some say there is balance right? What if the monsters are awakening because of things disrupting that balance, and their doing their part to keep it in check.

The room is silent for a moment.

General: A monster is a monster... we have to protect our cities from them.
Lilian: Then who is the real monster? The creatures out there, or the man that wants to see them dead for just living?

Lilian leaves, disgusted. She sits out alone, skipping rocks on a lake.

----------

Later, Alan finds her.

Alan: Lilian, the aliens found their Xenorah, and it's approaching Florida.
Lilian: When will it arrive?
Alan: Soon.. if their predictions are right.

They go see it on the monitors. The Xenorah now has eight limbs armed with sharp claws, a bladed tail, a sightless head with deadly fangs and a long, thorny crest.

Powell: It's gotten bigger, beyond expectation.

They see Stygi and Dimoradon fighting as well, but the Xenorah pays no heed, as its targeted Miami. It starts devouring people. The military fights back, and they wound it, but its acid blood that melted flesh and steel. The radar picks up a familiar signature: Venatus, heading for Xenorah.

Alan: Venatus?! What's he doing here?
Lilian: Likely came seeing the Xenorah as competition.

Xenorah and Venatus fight violently, wrecking buildings in the process. Lilian tries to see if she can get Stygimorah and Dimoradon to cooperation. Despite a struggle, it eventually works, and they go to help Venatus. The Xenorah seems to have overwhelmed Venatus, as it goes in for the final blow, Stygimorah headbutts Xenorah then he unleashes a beam that blows a hole in the alien.

Despite the hole in its the body, it continues to fight. After a long battle, Dimoradon grabs him and unleashes an electric beam that fries it from the inside out. Xenorah falls dead, Venatus then leaves, Stygimorah and Dimoradon nod, and they too leave. The humans then look at the Tyrannoids.

Alan: So... what now?
Tyrannoid: We'll see what happens...

The Tyrannoids get in their ship and leave Earth, but not before leaving behind a probe.

Lilian: The probe is their way of keeping in touch?

The television broadcasts, showing the Tyrannoid leader.

Tyrannoid: Attention, citizens of the human hive. Because of the Xenorah infestation, we Tyrannoids are declaring your world be under Tyrannoid supervision. The probe we left behind is our way of monitoring your planet to ensure its protection. Should any other extraterrestrial threats, such as invasive species, intergalactic hunters, and war races invade, the probe will detect them, and we will be quick to respond.

The transmission ends.

Alan: Answers your question?
Lilian: Looks like they're keeping an eye on us.
Alan: Likely. But I know one thing for sure. It's not over. Not by a long shot.
