This is my entry for contest
I was originally gonna have her holding a really ornate dagger but it just didn't feel right and was really frustrating me. In the end I was inspired by some jewelry concepts from the Thief game artbook I have. So she's still holding a dagger (I guess) but it feels lighter and more decorative which I like. I would love to draw this character again, I lopve how she turned out. Wish I had followed the stock just a bit more closely. In the stock image she is looking down more but still.

This is gorgeous
The dark colours and tones contrast nicely with the light in the cabin and help to accentuate the twisted fairy tale setting
The wisps of fog look great and love the use of crosshatching for shading
