This is my Rocking Horse of DOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!He has glow in the dark eyes. He has blood all over his teeth and has probably been chomping on something crunchy. He'll take you for a ride but you probably wont like where you end up. He's the f**ked up one from the Carnival of Darkness.
He's also my entry into the Nightmare contest hosted by the fantastic ! Go join 'em. They rock
It fits in with the nightmare theme only because I've had a recurring nightmare about a twisted playroom ever since I was a kid. And although he turned out not nearly as dark as I'd hoped, he at the very least scares my housemate

Oh yeah, there's a major delay on Blue Steel. May be doing a second cast at some point, but I'm pulling out my latex cast tomorrow so will paint that up and post it. The resin cast was OK but I'm having trouble making a base for it, 'cos it's very very heavy. Still thinking....

Yep, it's over a meter tall, more of an adult size horse? Took 3 solid days to paint, and I'm seriously considering making tiny skulls to put on each of the tassels. Also considering making a proper bridle.

oh now i REALLY want one! lol I"ve always wanted a carousel horse, but i'd take a demonic adult sized rocking horse in a heartbeat! oh how I LOVE this Holiday!
I just got back from the haunted house down the road. Really good this year! took my neighbor for the first time, lol she clung to my arm like it was a life line! and the best part was that out of the 7 in our group that went in, only 4 of us made it all the way through the house! lol I think we lost 3 in the room with the women being hacked up by the chainsaw!
We it IS recommended not for kids under 12 years! and just ignore the fact that on the first night one of the 10 year old kids working in the house got punched in the face by an adult who freaked and just reacted.

Yeah, I always wanted a carousel horse too. My housemate is under the mistaken impression I'm actually going to sell this thing.
Seriously, I MUST experience a few Halloweens soon. I always felt we were missing out here in Australia by not having it. That said, it's spring here so it would be kinda silly.
