Description

The world of Eden is a mysterious one. One that holds abundant life both flora and fauna. The project itself is a Speculative Biology/Fantasy/Xeno-Biology project that focuses on a world of strange and in some cases oddly familiar creatures on the planet 5a-6an also called Eden.

Though currently in early development I hope to continue this project for some time and fill out a massive world of plants, animals, peoples and every point in between. This project is a work in progress so do be patient.

So please enjoy looking through these designs and all descriptions and creatures are subject to change as time goes on and the project advances. As well as new information will be added in time.

Name - Brush Snork

Size - Small

Diet - insectivore

Uuna’s Journal Excerpt - Today I saw a small group of lumpy little creatures hop from a bush and give Ralah a startle and though she was quite angry with them or more likely at us teasing her I thought they were rather cute. The creatures scampered away quite quickly so I couldn't see much but it appeared to be covered in rough flabby skin and had a long nose and huge eyes.

It also made a high pitched whistle as it ran away. I've decided to call it a brush snork because of it hopping from a bush like it did and snorks a funny sounding name for a funny looking creature.

Scientific Information - The common Brush Snorks are probably the bottom of the food chain within the Sea of Glades. Their only real defense is that they reproduce faster than their species can be wiped out. The creatures are communal living in small clusters within the pockets of forests on the plains. Though not the largest or most ferocious by any stretch they are no less important to the ecosystem being a base to the food chain for larger creatures. They are insectivores using their prehensile trunk-like nose to sniff out and uproot insects.

Domestication - Their skin is used to create a thick and durable leather for shoes but they aren't typically kept as pets and are hunted by the settlers for their fatty yet very gamey meat.
