Description Kylemore Abbey, Connemara, County Galway, Ireland

Originally built in 1867 for a rich Englishman as a romantic gift for his wife, it now facilitates an all girls religious school. Nestled closely by it is the "Goth Church" that was built in 1878 in remembrance of his wife.
