So I did a plaugue doctor... thing with the raven mask thing going on.
Not expecting to win this one, just wanted to paint and I have not entered a contest for a whole week.
Not planning this means sloppyness with a lot of this painting. I did not even draw the doctor as practice before I did this. Baaad me.
I really do need direction when I am going to do something. I am so bad with self projects, which are non existing at the moment.
Was done with water colours and Winsor and Newton inks.

no, they used them because back in their day, they thought that the stench was sickening, so to avoid the stench, they put many good-smelling spices in the beak so they didnt contract the virus

dont think of it as sloppy it actually adds to the whole feel of the piece! a kind of grundge! i like this!

They were definitely creepy times. But then they were a very superstitious lot if I remember history correctly.
