Disclaimers: The original is more uniform and less muddy. The hood of the cloak is also throwing off her proportions... but I can't work on it anymore.This is *Lady-Silvercat 's Star Wars RP character Moraya, and is part of a wishlist trade that is a loooong time in coming. I am so bad >_< I worked really really hard on this one, which might or might not be evident, to hopefully partially make up for the wait. Such a cool character, I'm glad I got to try a Jedi at least once
And I need to thank *undergrounduno both for helping me get back into the art groove, but for making me see... er... taking me to see Star Wars III which helped me get in the mood for this picture in particular.

Her hands are soo striking.... and that pose... and how you used an easer for the effects for the lightsabre and boots.... cloak aside - which to me doesn't look like its being thrown off at all - I loooooove those folds.... for the folds drive me crazy even on a good day

Love the motion in the pic here, very mid-step sorta neat look. And I know it's just using the eraser properly and all, but I love the way you thought to use it on the saber and it's light trail, very ingenius. Her face is really beautiful as well, and so different from your girls. Lovely dixey.

So talented! She really came out well. You're always too hard on yourself. I really like the great way her dynamic pose fills up the entire center of the page. She has a beautiful face and elegant sweep of the wrist. The forward tilt of her hips reads so well with the hem of her tunic, which has some stellar folds to the drapery that really show off the twisting motion of her torso. I like the back leg in shadow under the cloak and the forward boot rests convincingly against the steep plane of the rocks in the foreground. The background is amazing, so wild and detailed with the leaning trees and vines.

This was a very beautiful rendition of Moraya of Lady Silvercat's, I think it is beautiful just the way it is! Lady Silvercat has a style that is unique to herself and it is always nice to see others take her work and do a deviation, and I love it very much.
