Assignment was to do something involving a hand. I drew my hand in this sort of pose, and someone said "Hey! That looks like the thing in the Adam's Family!' or whatever the hand was called. I had no idea what they were talking about, but when they explained it, I wanted to know how the hand ended. Though they didn't show it on the show obviously, I figured it hand to be severed. So I started drawing it as such. But that was boring when I actually got into it, so I had to rethink it a little. To me, the pose also looked like the hand was scrunching or cleaning something, so the cloth was added.

So now it's an OCD person cleaning up after their own murder!! XD

BTW it was hard to get reference for this. You can't find severed hands on google, even if you turn the family friendly options off. I had to go look at the Forensics teacher's gross text books :'D
