Description Here's another fast ink drawing of a Thylacine, again done the same way as this picture but instead of a male Thylacine, here we have a female, and mother. And her two pups Her pouch is dropped, so that means she is either relaxed, or she has another pup or two in there
Oh Thlacine, such an interesting marsupial you are/were.

And also, instead of watching documentaries about thylacines, I was watching Dirty Jobs whilst drawing this.

Yep!

BABIES <3

WHA? They were put in the feline family o>o, but actually canines, felines, bears, and rodents all came from one ancestor c:

Dirty Jobs is still on? I though they had taken off the air? But that is not the point, this is a lovely ink art of such a fabulous marsupial. You don't see many artwork depiction of joeys in pouches and you rarely get good photos of such. Say are you familiar with Knight's painting on a doe (strangely, marsupial males and females are called "bucks" and "does". Weird right?) and her joeys?

Yep! they're carnivorous marsupials. Within the same family as kangaroos, Tasmanian devils, and other marsupials They're not in the canine family, or feline family.

I read somewhere that they were found recently, like, 19 something, and that they may possibly still be out there. I wish that were true! They are so cool.
This is very beautiful, I love ink drawings!

D'waww you have such an understanding of their anatomy it is fabulous
I just watched this special yesterday on some scientists who are trying to clone the thylacine back into existence, in all honesty I don't think they have enough to work with to achieve it, but it was still pretty cool
