I DUNNO WHAT SIMBA'S RUNNIN' FROM!~
But yeah this was fun, I'm entering it into the Art Jam since it's like the last day and I haven't drawn Simba in a while.
I used a new technique on the lineart to make it more like the movie lineart, it's hard to spot though. And I used one of the expressions from my expression meme, since this is one of my favorites XD

If you're taking suggestions, could you do a pic just like this for Adult Nala. Just a request if you get some free time and need an idea. You got the Disney style RIGHT ON! The technique you used to get the lineart works quite well! Ahhh the background has such a magical quality to it, even if the drawing itself is suspenseful. But, regardless amazing work!! Great choice of colors and placement of the trees and all.

Oh it's so clever to place your mark just in the center of the picture. No one can still it now!
1) Qualified artist can remove it.
2) Not qualified artist wouldn't remove it even if you would place it somewhere in corner.
3) Everybody can download your gallery and upload it pretending that he\she is you. I saw examples.
4) It's impossible to steal picrure of extremaly good quality. TLK fandom is rather small and good fanart is rare and well known. Any idiot that will try to post this picture as his\her own will be blamed in plagiarism and banned in 24 hrs.
5) Paranoia is bad.

Soooo, are you giving me crap for my water mark or what?
Cause it has kept the theft down a lot, and most people are two stupid to take off the water mark, and I put it over the characters face so that my art isn't made into icons on websites. Cause fanart gets stolen and cropped for everything like icons for forums and banners and stuff, but if you water mark the face, no one wants to bother.

1) You're great artist and great people must be above such a trifle like reposting somewhere cropped picture. You just have reached the skill level that can make you a star in TLK fandom but now you only lose fans.
2) If you want your fan-art not be stolen keep it on your HDD or removable disks like DVD. 99.999% Warrantly. From other side Internet is very big and life is tough something will be stolen anyway. You can do nothing about it so why worry? Do you know Sarafina? Sarafina from TOP 10 of fanart.lionking.org. I saw 3 of her pictures modified in pornography way and there were serious scandals but no one of her pictures ever had huge watermark on characters' muzzles. She was angry when I shown her this picture.
There are millions peoples in Internet who do some work for others not demanding anything in return. Somebody maintains site other write program code and upload it to sourceforge.net third draw pictures and etc. Most of them spent more time and money in their work than you in your art (at this moment I'm interested in 2 of your pics other still have some defects). And you will be angry if somedody will post your pic on his\her f***** page with 1 visitor per day!!! What do you lose?? Money? Time? For whom you upload? For fans who always want to say two or three bad words when they saw huge watermark in the most important place? If you feel bad that you made the whole work and somebody use it then upload tiny versions and demand money. Btw you use this site but you don't pay for it until you want additional profit. But know what? No one would deal with somebody who's so paranoidal about stealing.

Oh not to long, you kinda get a rythem to these things, then it's just kinda second nature, so the more you push yourself in general the less you really work later.

One of my weakness as an artist is backgrounds, especially when it comes to trees, rocks, and ground texture. It seems like when I make them, it never turns out the way I want.

My advice would be lots of layer, behind and infront of the character, all different shades, and the farther, or closer from the main focus should be blurry, but that's how I do things. And lots of little details really make the pic!
