Description
This is a more updated design for Gerda, the Princess of Vivendale.For Gerda, I decided to really delve into traditional Norwegian clothing. While Ida wears more elegant dresses, Gerda wears outfits that are more playful and allow her to run around the Kingdom.
I was inspired by these pictures to put her hair in french braid pigtails...

I think I've decided that Gerda will have very light blonde hair.
Everyone in the royal family will wear this dark purple reddish color somewhere in their wardrobes, but I think I'm going to make Gerda's outfits more bright to fit her personality. I think I will be adding light pinks, turquoise, and green to her outfit.
I was inspired by all the colors in this picture, but it won't be as loud...

Would you consider giving her really long braids? Just an idea, might look wierd though.

Her hair is rather interesting. I'm not really too sure about her outfit though. Well I should probably let you know that I mostly learn things from visuals rather than words, so I really can't picture what her outfit would look like based on the colors you suggested. I kind of want to say that it's similar to Anna's outfit, but then again I could be totally wrong.

I'll be doing a colored version of this drawing shorty, so you should see what I'm getting at soon.
The only reason she looks like Gerda is because I used Traditional Norwegian clothing as the base of Gerda's outfit. The colors will be what really pulls her away from Anna as well since her color scheme is entirely different.

At this point, the only reason she looks like Anna is because I've got a Disney style, and also because I'm using Norwegian clothing as inspiration for the fashion choices.

I really like her hairstyle. Braids will be a common hairstyle in the Kingdom, so they'll be everywhere! I've always loved drawing braids so she had to have them.
