and when he looked up from the winding path of stone and rock, the sky had cleared, brilliant shining stars for as far as the eye can see light the dark of the sky. The air cool and wind light as it brushed against his fur and ginkgo, ruffling the papers of his tail. Nishi stopped to admire such a sight. Happiness and awe swelling through his entire being.
'Ah' he thought with fondness. 'How breathtaking.' and the stars seemed to have shimmered brighter.

This piece is too darn pretty! ;___; The composition and the way you did the painting in the stars is just stunning. The way they frame Nishi is just gorgeous! I'm also loving the little touches of blue you added onto him, it really pulls the whole picture together.
