Thank you so much! I went a little ott with the blur though I think - I even ended up blurring the linework slightly xD so then I had to blur everything else >w<

It works though. I usually never blurr enough or too much. I really like the effect you've got. It's just so nice! I try to get that type of colouring before texturing it for watercolours but I can never get it right >.<

I know that feeling all to well lol but it is surprising how often those techniques come in use for something better later and the best part is, you can already do it well or like a pro. The hard part is staying happy with it XD I know how you feel, you end up over analysing some days like nothing is happening then months or even years later, you find a new purpose for colouring methods that once seemed random. Also sorry for the long reply.

That makes sense I just get a little down when I think about how long I've been on DA and how little I feel like I've improved sometimes. I mean, it's different when I actually look at my old stuff and compare, but I can't help feeling bad. Haha, that's OK
