wow, that probably is one of the most impressive drawings I've ever, seen although the drawn subject is pretty simple. I looked very carefully at your work because I've worked on water before and know how hard it is, and you really did an excellent job
I'de be happy if you might give me any hints on my current WIP [link] where I'm drawing water, too. But if you don't want too, it's okay

thank you! I don't really have any hints, but I'll try to do my best. Err okay this drawing took three months. Some days I worked on this, some days I didn't.
If I got bored adding details to a certain area, I did the details on other areas for a bit of a change. Does that make sense? haha. I used 6B for the dark parts and 3B for the little strokes and stuff. I'm sure you know that a putty eraser would be very useful for water studies. ...but you're doing a very good job yourself! If you find yourself on the verge of giving up(I know I did every last hour I spent on this), just think of how proud you'd feel after you finish it. And the advantage of drawing water is that the proportions can be distorted and no one would be able to tell. Good luck
