So good to see another anthro from you! I think you do quite well with them actually... I'd love to see you tackle more, actually.
Anyhow, she's really cute and beautiful! She looks radical enough to boot too, hehe. I love the contrast of the color scheme, and her expression is so perfect!

It is hard, I must say.... I have an easier time with it though, I'll confess. I loved creating my fursona based on my own attributes...what I like to think of as "soul" or aura colors, personality and physical traits correlating to the animal.... Just feeling it. It's such a fun process, though it took me about seven years to discover what my true animal/fursona was. It's fun to think of creating a fursona akin to finding a spirit animal.
Then again, I'm a nerd! XD I had fun doing it with Jazz too, though he knew all of his already... I just brought it to life. Other anthros feel harder for me to create if they're not based off someone I really love though.

I guess for me, it's hard to ignore the really twisted and perverted side of furrydom. I know that's like the pot calling the kettle black, but it just pushes all the wrong buttons for me when I see some of the artwork from that side of the community. Makes no sense, I know!
The other thing that gets to me is the style that so many furry artists use. It's the same issue that I have with anime/manga art when it's used over and over by people. The style becomes monotonous and same-old, same-old. I like to see a unique style from an artist, and many furry art looks too undistinctive to me. Yes, I know, I'm such a judgmental bastard!
I never thought about having a fursona before, but if there's one animal that I think I'm spiritually linked to, it'd be the bull. It's also my horoscope sign, but I do identify with that animal to a large extent.

Well, everyone has their own personal tastes--I don't blame you! I have to say there's some stuff that kinda bothers me too... Mainly when it's kids involved, or scat. >< I'm not sickened by much though, since I do get the idea of personal tastes... Regardless, I try not to let people ruin something so special to me. ^-^ But it does make sense, no worries!
You are right--then again, animals used do have those certain traits that usually have to stick... Style wise, many people try to draw anthros with the same snouts, body and fur types, etc... So I understand how that can be less tasteful, especially if they look the same--just with different colors and ears. I like variety with my guys, as much as I can muster. My favorite artists are the same!
But again, I know what you mean with that. I feel too many people use regular ol' cats and canines... Along with another multitude of common animals. That's why I love my fursona so much, the Porvine. <3 That, and I have a big thing for hybrids! If it's drawn well, I'll usually love it (a good story for the charrie or picture is usually first and foremost for me though, along with overall design). I have to say I prefer distinct styles and species though.
Oooh, awesome! If you ever got the itching to do it, I'd love to see you draw it out!

I think you're right about the name - I'm just going to name each character after their day of the week. Otherwise it'll be too hard for people to remember them when we get to part two.

I can see her delivering an abundance of woe, too. LoL, poor . I'm sure he didn't intend for his bunny to be an instrument of woe.

Bahahaha this is awesome!! I love her facial expression, especially in the ouline of her to the right~
I think you did a really great job on the color scheme of this one! I really enjoy the color of her hair, it nicely compliments her outfit quite well! I think the spotlight and shadow add a nice touch too!

I'm glad you like her! LoL, she's probably completely different from what you might have imagined in your mind, but hopefully she captures a bit of the spirit of your original concept.

She was indeed a bit different what I had in mind, but I was pleasantly surprised to see so! This is so much more badass than I had in mind, it's awesome!
