Description Chapter Five
Not Who You Think I am

He woke to the feeling of movement. He was lying some a cold hard slab of metal. He opened his eyes to lights flashing above his head. Faces surrounded him. He tried to move but he was strapped to a gurney.
"The patient has regained consciousness."
"Who are you? Where am I?" The faces were swimming and everything was fuzzy.
"Mr. Cramer, you took a nasty spill, we are taking you to have your head looked at. Another escape attempt and you'll have to have a lobotomy."
"Loboto—wait a second, I'm not Cramer I'm Dustin, Dustin Greeley."
"Of course you are Mr. Cramer." The Doctor's voice rang out strong and confident as he injected something into Dustin's IV.
"Wait—stop—what are you d… doing…" his eyes flickered.
"Just relax and enjoy the morphine Mr. Cramer. All will be well again once you wake up."
Dustin slipped into unconsciousness again.

When he woke next his head throbbed and he found his face pressed into the cold tile. He tried to get up but his arms were bound tightly across his chest by a straight jacket.
"Mr. Cramer, I'm glad you're awake." The doctor from before strode into the room, briskly snapped a glove onto his hand.
"I'm not Cramer…" Dustin grumbled into the tile.
"But of course you are. See? It's right here on your chart." He held out his clipboard and pointed to the name: Horace Cramer. "Now I need to have a look at you. That fall you took was quite nasty. We'll have no more of that." He sat Dustin up and checked his eyes with a small flashlight. Dustin blinked.
"I'm surprised your mother let you do that to your hair Horace." The doctor said idly.
"I'm in college. My mother didn't have a say. What have you done with Danny?"
"Oh Horace you've never been to college." He paused, "Danny? Danny… oh you must mean Peter Franklin. You two are quite chummy these days. Yes he's in surgery."
"Surgery? For what?"
"His behavior was out of control, something that I'm sure influenced you. We are dealing with it." He said, idly writing on Dustin's… or Horace's… chart. "He won't be jumping off roof tops anytime soon."
Dustin paused. "What did you do to him?"
"Nothing Mr. Cramer, Nothing." He said idly, his voice was so familiar but Dustin was to angry to place it.
"I'm Cramer!" Dustin heaved himself to his feet as he screamed. "My name is Dustin Greeley and I'm nineteen years old! Why won't you believe me?"
"Because I have your chart right here and it says that you're Horace Cramer, age thirty five. You were committed at age thirty after you tried to strangle your wife."
"I'm nineteen! I'm a sophomore in College; I don't even have a girlfriend, let alone a wife!"
"You created this persona to escape from the guilt Horace."
"No! I really am Dustin!"
"No Horace," the voice said calmly.
It clicked. That voice, it was the voice from the staircase. "Its you! You're the one who said Danny was in trouble!"
"I have no idea what you're talking about Horace."
"Let me out of here!" he screamed.
The doctor was on his feet and before Dustin knew what was happening the doctor had grabbed him by the front of the straight jacket and slammed him into the wall. His feet dangled six inches above the ground as the doctor growled in his face. "You will stay here till the day you die you snot nosed brat." But the room was changing, and so was Dustin. The straight jacket melted away, and the room fell into disrepair around them.
The Doctor growled as his illusion was shattered. "You will not leave here alive." He dropped Dustin and vanished.
He was still in the room, but his head throbbed worse than before. He rose to his feet and stumbled out the door. As he stepped out of the small room he was in a hallway that he didn't recognize. Then the screaming began. Voices; wailing, crying, shrieking screeching, men, women, children, old and young from every direction. He pressed his hands to his ears as he sunk to his knees, crying out at the agony these voices instilled in him.

Holy shit you should have seen my face when I read the first paragraph. XD Okay. Pointing things out now.

I believe you already used something similar to "with the air of someone examining their fingernails" as a description before. Which isn't really the problem, mostly that they're so close together in the story. I actually really like the line itself, though. Great description for voice.

I kinda want to see this made in to an animation. Some of the things I'm picturing are really vivid.
I NOW IMPLORE FOR A COMIC.

I'm glad you like it, I'm rather fond of it myself XD

I will take a look at that and see what I can do.

Lol I can't animate, but yea, maybe I'll do a comic, since you IMPLORE.
