Oh jee, weer zo'n comment die ik over het hoofd heb gezien. Dit is in Stockholm, maar waar precies... zou het niet weten zonder kaart erbij prachtige stad iig, ook echt wel iets voor jou denk ik.

Dank je wel! Ik was er zelf ook aardig tevreden over, behalve die paar blaadjes die je nog net aan het randje van de linkerkant kan zien. Misschien haal ik die nog eens weg.

Pleasant view! That curve leads elegantly into the picture. Pity about the shadow in the corner, but it was a good idea to include the lantern on the right :]
Seems you got really lucky with the weather... the day I was there it was raining all the time.

Yes, that shadow in the corner isn't too great, but there was no way around it without losing the lantern and a big part of the road that gives the picture its charm. The wonderful thing with this picture is that it's more beautiful than the place actually was, which makes me kind of proud.
Yes, we had excellent weather for almost the entire week we were there. You've been there only for a day? You must have missed quite a lot!

It's a great composition. The really dedicated photographers would come back a different time of the day to get the composition without the shadow. Not that I'd ever be that dedicated to get a photo ;]

Hehe, I missed out on the good weather ;] I was travelling by Interrail so I decided to spend a day in Stockholm. Too bad I had already booked a night train for that evening, or I could have left earlier, for a place with better weather! I'd also been there in good weather, but that was only for lunch and a short stroll before my ferry to Finland left.

I'm not that dedicated either first of all, I'd have to know the way to that place...
It's a gorgeous city, really. You might want to return someday to see it for real.

When I made this picture, there were 20 students arguing over a map just behind my back I think most of them didn't even notice what was around them. It was breathtaking indeed!
