ur tree in what sense?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

DorianP In reply to inter4life [2006-12-25 17:05:51 +0000 UTC]

because I felt a special connection with it. Of course it's not my tree as in my possession.

Beautiful crows? Applause for the ability to take something most people find ugly, put it in a lovely background, and make it beautiful!

They were very special: they lived in an otherwise deserted castle, like the spirits of the people who had lived (and died) there so long ago. I wanted to make a good picture of them, but it turned out to be rather difficult. Glad you liked it!

Hmmm, to cast crows as spirits in a poem could be interesting. Very Native American perhaps!

It's a rather lovely looking tree. I wish it were mine.

Are you turning into a photographer?

Meh, don't think so. But it's fun. Perhaps if I appear to be good and have a cam of my own I'll submit more here.

Oh, I love that silhouetto, and that's really a cool composition, with the treetop and the landscape framing the shot! Looks a lot like BW, but if I'm not mistaken, there's a faint pinkish-blue hue in the sky?

The colours are so strange because the sun was right behind the tree. The actual colours were completely unlike the way the photo turned out, which is why I liked it so much.
Thanks for the comment!

Yea, that's really cool, when a photo shows smth you don't see for real!

*bows*

I think I should move some of these scraps to my main gallery, then. And resize them

Some are definitly worth it :]

Anyway I noticed - and I think this is new - that the fav shows up among my favs even though the picture resides in your scraps. So it's either way for me, whatever you choose.
