Yay! It's Chichiri! He's from Fushigi Yuugi.
I've had the FY complete box set since 2003, but I never finished watching it. I stopped at the episode where Nuriko... T__T Anyway, I decided a few weeks ago that I wanted to finish watching the series and OVAs finally so I started watching multiple episodes per day. (I still haven't finished it yet... haven't watched any for a while) So, Chichiri has always been my favorite of the Suzaku Shichiseishi. He's so funny and cute!
I had this started while I was in the middle of my marathoning, but all I did was the rough sketch of everything in a separate layer over top of his lil' naked body. He sat for a while and this morning I felt like finishing him.
I'm very happy with him. All the details in his outfit turned out great. Originally, I was going to make two versions of his face to show what he really looks like, but the position and size of South Park eyes would not accommodate the scar over his left eye.

There's only Fushigi Yuugi (which follows the story of the Priestess of Suzaku mixed with a little Priestess of Seiryuu) and the Fushigi Yuugi Genbu Kaiden manga (which follows the Priestess of Genbu. What do you mean by three?

Orly? I thought there was one for each: Genbu, Seiryuu, and that other one. So i guess i thought there were four different series. 27 different constalations, 7 each priestess', 4 gods and all... So theres only The Mesterious Play and Genbu Kaiden?

I read that she would like to make the Byakko story, too, but who knows if she'll ever be able to. It took 8 years from the time that she finished FY to when she started FYGK. I'd love to see the Byakko Shichiseishi, too.

Me too! I think three of the Byakko Seishi were shown in FY, just like Hikitsu and Tomite were shown as holograms. I want to see the rest!

Fushigi Yuugi has a bunch of great characters. It's strange that I didn't make any of them before now, really. I'm also reading the new Fushigi Yuugi Genbu Kaiden manga. I hope it gets made into an anime, too.

There are 52 episodes of Fushigi Yuugi. There are also some OVAs.
Well, the original Fushigi Yuugi was published from 1992 to 1996. She started another series in 2003 that tells a prequel story. They're both good, but you'd have to read/watch Fushigi Yuugi before reading FY Genbu Kaiden.

It probably doesn't help that it's published in what's the most popular manga magazine which has/had all the biggest names like Dragonball, One Piece, Yuu Yuu Hakusho, Naruto, Bleach, Fist of the North Star, Death Note, Saint Seiya, Bastard!, Rurouni Kenshin, YuGiOh!, Shaman King, Hunter X Hunter, Slam Dunk, Reborn, Eyeshield 21, Gintama, D.Gray-man.
