Ooooo... I kind of wish I'd known you were asking for advice so I could have offered you suggestions, but it seems you've gotten it all taken care of.
Do you and your persona Drawn get along okay?

Yeah, they're good. I mean, in the story Jace is sorta trying to comprehend all this. His character goes through quite some development. He's sorta overwhelmed by everything he sees, and feels bad he can't fix stuff. He has no powers in the world. Anyways, yeah...

I know I haven't been on much or anything, but I'd love to help you with this stuff! There's nothing I enjoy more than creative brainstorming.

It would probably be worth watching the Neverending Story, Tron and the Wizard of Oz for inspiration - the quest for the spirits might be a phoney when you could probably got out at any time if only you believed (or something along those lines). Having your alter ego adventure with your real self is a great idea. Your pal might be an alter ego figure too, a native to the dream world who has parts of his essence but isn't really him, like the Scarecrow and Cowardly Lion relate to Dorothy's family back in Kansas.
You're right to keep your party small but if you're going for the full RPG model you might want to think in terms of having a tank, healer and a couple of dps (too many hours playing warcraft). Cripes might be limited but he might also have the appetite of Pac Man and eat/bite anything that gets in range, including bad guys. You'll maybe want a guide of some sort to play the Glenda the Good/Gandalf/Cheshire Cat type role to punt you along the right path without being too heavily involved in the adventure itself.
Your antagonist could be a second dark alter ego, maybe they're intent on getting out of the dream world into the real world (like Tron Legacy) or they could be an alien invader of the dream world, corrupting and transforming it and so letting the nightmarish monsters in. Maybe you've been summoned as they only one that can save Fantasia, if only you knew how! Or it could be the personification of art block - something like the Nothing/Emptiness that threatens Fantasia - you have to get over your art block before the dream world vanishes altogether and you with it.
You could locate your spirits in great temples like Zelda: Ocarina of Time or you could locate them in the great volcano, the bottomless bog, the isle of dread and the cloud city. You could though go for less "normal" forms - elementals suit a regular RPG story but you could be on a quest for the 4 things that help break writer's block like the song that always makes you smile, the movie that makes you cry, that sort of thing. Stuff to give you the inspiration you need to break the art block.
Hope there's a few ideas there that might help!

... I don't know what to say. You actually know so much about what I wanted to do! It's simply creepy!
I have all these ideas myself already, but you detailed them out so much already! XD
I don't want to go with the typical "it was all a dream thing." If anything, I'd say that, but make it a joke. LOL
And the rest I won't discus because you're closer to the actual plot than you think. Thanks dude!
I may note you with ideas and whatnot, since you have the grasp on my strange little mind. Please don't reveal stuff. LOL

I don't think I can help. I'm pretty amateur at both drawing and writing (to a lesser extent, at least)
