Description
So for some reason the computer's only sending horribly compressed images to my iPad?? I'm trying to work out why it's doing that but in the meantime you're going to have to put up with a poor quality image D;
THIS. TOOK. SO. LONG.
ALL THAT FUR.
This is a gifty thing for my fantabulous friend of his equally fantabulous character Kie. If you haven't seen his art yet, go check it out. He works entirely with a mouse and it's stunning.

Kie (KEY; phonetics 'ki: )
About This Picture
Kie is actually one of only two cameo characters in Scarred with a significant role, so she needed her own pastel art. In Scarred, she lives as part of a clan in the Khasry Range, the location she is in in this picture. The 'snow' is what typically falls in the Range; sharp ice needles that require some pressure to break. One either has to be adapted to it or keep off altogether, and what about being caught in a snowstorm with that blasting into your face?
Also first art with rain in it. Don't know if I screwed it up or not.
About the Character
(Based off what le Switch told me and things picked up from RPs)
Kie is a creature called a kahven, a herding, flying cervine, and stands about 1.4 metres high at the shoulder. Despite the fact she has the appearance of a herbivore, she is actually primarily carnivorous, only occasionally eating plant material. Her species typically dwells in alpine forests - Kie, on the other hand, is part of a nomadic clan that travels the Khasry Range. She has the combined roles of carer and workhorse, and is great friends with clans leader, Ezra. Fully adapted to alpine conditions, the freezing temperatures of the Range don't bother her and hooves and thick paw pads enable her to walk across the ice needles with no problem at all. She is very agile and capable of climbing rocks with ease, much like a mountain goat. Like other kahven, Kie can fly, but only if necessary.
