Description
I've been wanting to color this for a while and I've finally done it. This was a pic that my good friend here in DA did for me as a birthday request a while back of two of my favorite anime characters Carmine from the Dragon Century OVA anime and Grayfas from the Wild Knights Gulkeeva anime. I hope you like it, my friend.

Great work! I've seen Grayfas before. But only on internet sources since "Beast Warrior Gulkiva" was never released to America. But it looks like an interesting show though.

Ah so you have heard of the anime Wild Knights Gulkeeva? Same here on my end. I'm surprised that they haven't brought it here to the United States. If that would have happened, the furry fandom would explode. Thanks for the comment there, my friend. ^^

Not a problem, man. And yeah. I always wondered what exactly Wild Knights Gulkeeva was about as it's nearly impossible to find any information on the internet regarding the anime. But the characters look interesting. My personal favorite of course being Grayfas since I'm a "wolf" person. I like wolves because they draw my attention. And judging by the serious look on Grayfas's expression, he looks to me like he has that anti-hero characteristic that Jon Talbain from Darkstalkers has. I'm sure the furry fandom would expand tremendously if the show ever came to America. I hear that it was released in the mid 90s or so.

You are right about that. Grayfas is also one of my faves from the series and what you say of Jon Talbain, he is also my fave to use in Darkstalkers. It was released in Japan in 1995 by the studio Sunrise(Cowboy Bebop, Outlaw Star and Angel Links). I also have a fondness with wolves like you and the same goes with foxes. For me, I'm a "fox" person. Why do you think that some characters like Tails(Sonic series) and Fox(Starfox series) are my favorite characters? Because they are foxes(..obviously).

1995, huh? Wow. I remember that year like it was nothing. That was the same year "Ghost in the Shell" was released! And that was almost 15 years ago! So WKG was released by the same studio behind Cowboy Bebop, Outlaw Star, and Angel Links? Double wow! I'm surprised they never thought of releasing WKG though! It's ashame really considering that it's been delayed a US release for nearly 15 years!
I could tell you were a Fox person by your Fox McCloud avatar. And I admire your taste for foxy characters. Besides, the fox symbolizes many things.

Yep all that I said is so true. Sunrise in that time had some really good shit in anime especially with those three I mentioned. But yeah, I really like to see it here in the United States someday. If they do release it, then either these companies Anime Works(probably a better choice) or Bandai Entertainment should release it on DVD. What do you think? ^^
As for my Fox McCloud avatar, as I said before, I have a thing or two with foxes especially since they are very popular in the furry fandom along with wolves or possibly anthro dragons.

What do I think? Well I think that'd be one of the best things ever as both anime and furry fans in America would be getting the chance to see something they haven't seen before. Though I wonder who'd be incharge of the dubbing.
I can relate to your liking of foxes. After all, they have many qualities worthy of mention. They're smart, clever, cunning, tricky, elusive, and not to mention adorable. Their cuteness just draws you to them.

Well, I do know a few familiar names who could do the English dub if there ever was one. In fact I've been putting some thought into it. And here's some of the suggestions that came to mind...
Grayfus: Daran Norris (voice of Vincent)
Gariel: Beau Billingslea (voice of Jet Black) or Mike Reynolds
Beakwood: Steven Blum (voice of Spike)
Touya: Johnny Young Bosch (voice of Kaneda from Akira and Vash the Stampede from Trigun)

Yeah. That could really work there. You know now that you mention it, if they ever did a Starfox anime, Steven Blum would be perfect for Wolf O'Donnell there. What do you think?

Hmmm. Or how about Johnny Young Bosch as Fox McCloud, and Scott McNiel as Wolf O'Donnell? What'd you think of that? I just thought that because Scott McNeil did the voice of Koga from Inuyasha and he has that deep and imposing sort of voice. And I always thought that Wolf should sound imposing since he's kind of a dark anti-hero sort of guy. And speaking of which, I thought Scott McNeil could be another good choice for Grayfus if Daran Norris doesn't cut it.

Yeah as a matter of fact, Scott McNeil has that wolf-like personality which can work wonders and he did the same thing with Wolverine in X:Men Evoultion. But I would also say that Steven Blum can do it if possible. You know who would be great as Falco Lombardi? The one who can do that is Jeff Bennett(Brooklyn from Gargoyles). What do you think of that?

I think so all the way. In fact, I think he'd be perfect for Falco. Jeff Bennett. Man, how could I forget his roles? I can still remember the characters he voiced back in the 90s. As far as records go, he did a LARGE number of other character voices as well. But two of his most memorable roles that come to mind were the ones he did for Brooklyn from Gargoyles, and Blitz from Road Rovers. Even to this day, I remember it all like it was only yesterday. As for Scott McNeil, I'm pretty sure he'd be perfect for Grayfus since he can do that deep imposing sort of voice. In fact, here's my little re-sight on the English cast down below.

Oops! Sorry! I forgot to mention that guy! Didium, well, most likely I misspelled his name, or have gotten it incorrect due to the source I found on the net. But he's the tall bear dude with a surprisingly lean body build. I'm assuming he's not apart of the main cast along with the trio helping Touya, so it's understandable that you probably never heard of him.
As for the Star Fox cast; I think those actors would be perfect! As a matter of fact, I couldn't think of anything better! But I think you forgot to include Wolf in the list. Don't forget about him! He's one of the main characters!
