This is the main antagonist of Dreamtales: Gloomdar's Curse.

Few mortals have had as much effect upon the world of dreams as Gloomdar. Even as a young Spell Mage, Gloomdar's desire to learn all magic knows no bound. Pledging his life to a malevolent celestial body known as the Void, Gloomdar waged war on Aphiria on it's behalf before the Void was banished from the far reaches of the cosmos. With his master and source of dark magic gone, Gloomdar disappeared. Now with the Void's return, Gloomdar vows to spread it's darkness all over Aphiria's fragmented remains now known as Dreamlands.
