Hi so I love how you colored this. The way you used a blue tint in the shading to match the background? Really accentuates the atmosphere you're trying to convey. Also, how it's so shady because of the lack of light in the drawing? Cuz it's nighttime? You're practically shading through highlights and that's intermediate art techniques right there! True work of a pro. < 3 So what's the name of this character, dude? He looks really interesting. c:

Well thanks, one f my freinds gave me that idea as a tip. It brings out the mood of the backround suppose more, say if the drawing is very green with trees and grass if you tint it green it brings everyhting out nicely. I usaly don't like shading this way because its like shading backwards but the way I can tint things better this way I like it. Actually i've had this guy for about a year now prbably but I haven't figured out his name, sometimes they can be difficult. But yeah thanks!
bombardment of comments ffff

Yeah yeah, I'll lay off of the comment bombardment for now I figure you've got a lot of catching up to do. xD;
I thought it looked like shading backwards too! But it works. Don't think your watchers can't pick up on when you're going at new techniques. :U
I thiiiiink the tinting thing works well. I won't lie, I am the world's laziest shader. I make a layer on top of the base colors, make the shading all the same color and then lower the opacity. ;; -horrible person lol-
Even if you didn't like the technique, you still pulled it off swimmingly well. c: And there's always boring things you need to do in the art world like ~buildings~. *gag* (And the frightening ones like artistic nudes. I can't wait until I'm in college for that one. e____e)
No name? Oh, I'm horrible at names but you'll be the first I drop any ideas to, okay?
Yeah yeah I'll lighten up on you I figured you needed a couple. ;D

hahah okay
Yeah I suppose most people would'nt notice. Well I wouldnot have guessed thats how you shade and well whatever works really. I use two layers for shading as well Just in case you make a mistake you can just erase it easily. Well thanks, and oh no not the buildings. I haven't gotten to drawing nudes yet but i'm not looking forward to that, I already had art history and we had to stare at all the greek art and boy do thoose people like to sculpt nackid men ffff but not women nope they had to have clothes.
names are buggy most of the time
