Where did you buy the ultimak replica? I just got a hold of my ak74 and really want that rail for my Eotech.

I picked it up from ebairsoft a couple of years back, not sure if they still stock them tho. I imagine the likes of ehobby Asia, WGC or Scope & laser.
There's a few different brands now compared to when I bought mine so search for the likes of LCT and CYMA.

good thing about the dearer versions of airsoft is that they all come made just like the real weapons, and can be field striped like them too, so you can put just about anything on that was built for the real one. XD i love it. were as the cheaper BB versions can't be stripped.

Defiantly a bonus when companies put the effort in the make it that bit more realistic.
Gas blow back rifles are the "in" thing at the minute because they operate and stripe down so similarly to the real thing, not my cup of tea since they are overly expensive and our weather is pretty miserable most of the year so gas gun are generally unreliable in the cold so you could spend hundreds building a gun that you can't even run most of the time.

I have a CA Steyr Aug a1 and its just like the real one, by clicking a latch and pressing a button the gun is in three pieces.
if only it was sold in pieces, just like the real Aug its suited for both right and left handed shooters, even the safety can be swapped round for comfort. [link] anyways i was wandering if you could get a hold of parts from real guns from other countries?

Actually had a CA AUG A2 ages back [link] nice gun but its since been sold on.
Real part wise you can legally import quite a lot of external (non load bearing) parts into the UK hell you can even buy things like RS grips, slings and genuine optics from ebay.

i have a Spring TM Ruger KP85 the slide has snapped were the hammer is, which is were the two parts meet, i was hoping to find spare parts to restore its condition, becuase i really liked it. but it seems like these arent produced anymore.
Off : im hoping to to buy different variant of the Aug to turn it into an adaptive rifle, e.g. replacing the barrels for CQB and long range shooting and recievers for red dots and original 1.5x scope.

Unfortunately you'll probably have problems sourcing parts for TM's spring series as they're not very common anymore replaced by TM's range of gas blow backs.
Theres actually quite a few AUG parts available cheaply from HK like a CQB (para) barrel set and an H-Bar (support gunner) front end with bi-pods and full barrel silencers (Phantom kit) so you can do alot more to them now compared to a few years back.

Sig hands down.
There isn't a great deal of S&W models in airsoft form and whatever you can find will likely be a nightmare to source parts or extra mags for but with sig you've got a good selection to choose from including pistols, assault rifles and bolt action rifles.

i'll just be getting some budget ones for now... i'll have to get a UKARA. but by the time i get one of those most bb guns will probably be discontined. anyways, i'll most probably get a SIG P230 for the meantime, and just some other budget ones, modifying their looks

Typically no, its an aftermarket railed gasblock making for a more modern set-up (google ultimak for reference) the older set-ups tend to have a russian optic mounted directly to the body.

A little, the bottom needed a bit of filing where they fit into the receiver and the top piece took a little sanding but only minor work.
Not sure how well they would fit on other brands of ak though..
