My piece for the Enjoyment task ofI teamed up with the wonderful to draw her character Luisa and my character November sandsurfing together. Sandsurfing is a lot like snowboarding, except you surf down sand dunes instead of waves, how cool is that? I was super excited to draw this piece once el7doodles told me about the sport.
Luisa really enjoys the sandsurfing and introduced it to November who was immediately a big fan of the extreme sport. The two of them have a lot in common, having a passion for justice, and loving new and exciting extreme activities.

Sandsurfing! I had to look up the sport, and gosh, it seems so cool - the speed, the thrill, the excitement... I can imagine why November and Luisa would be drawn to an extreme sport like this! 
November seems to pick up really well on the sport - look at her taking a leap with her board! - and it's clear that these Tortured Teen Heroines are having the time of their lives. They both have strong liking for adventure (and justice, and Never Giving Up) and extreme sports, so it's no surprise they'd get along this well, partaking in activities that are both dangerous as well as absolutely thrilling. (I bet November must've been so delighted at meeting Luisa, who probably understands her hurting, her need for justice, and her love for fun extreme activities - at long last, a kindred soul! 
I love the bright colors of the piece - as I always do with your pieces - and there's such joy in this piece it makes me giddy (and want to sand surf myself, though I'd probably be waaaaayyyyy to scared to even try.

Doesn't it?? I was introduced to it this task too and now I'm dying to try it! Apparently tourists and people unfamiliar with the sport usually sit down on the board and go down the dune like sledding. That seems why less frightening, and totally doable. So maybe you could try it that way if you ever get the chance

Thank you!!! I had so much fun with the colors and I'm really enjoying working with brush pens to create varying thickness of lines, it's tricky but fun! And I tried some new expensive watercolor paper for this piece, it was a little hard to ink on, but the watercolors worked so well.

It's really nice your sister helped you out with the anatomy - there's nothing more difficult than anatomy, I swear :') - and with a bit of help, you'll improve a lot faster for sure. I think you can take the full compliment: it was still you who drew, inked, and coloured the piece.

I think so too! I'm certain that if I tried it I would not even be able to stand up once haha, I'd just go sledding down the dunes instead
It was a lot of fun to make this piece, but I was afraid I wouldn't get it in on time because I had to decide what to do! There were too many great options!

Wooh, this is so cute! It's so nice to see both of them having so much fun together. You painted the sand really nicely and their hair just looks so great! Yeah, it makes sense both of them would like extreme sports, as they are both up for challenges!
