Heheh, tis quite a challenge! I'll reveal what I did after this piece has been up for a bit. I wanna give people a chance to try it. I'm telling ya: it's really convoluted. But if someone took the time to discover Gaster in-game, then there's bound to be someone to find the message.
I agree on the beads: it is soothing and satisfying to see it all come together. It's just the damn melting part that sucks ass! My God Pixie, you wouldn't believe how flustered I got! I wanted to chuck it at the wall! Now you have to understand, I don't typically lose my patience, but it hit a nerve and I WAS TRIGGERED! lolol
Oh my God, how big was the Mew? Was it like one of those gigantic 2-3ft tall pieces? Link me a pic if ya have one. Either way, I totally understand the pain! Have you worked any with the tiny Perlers? THEY ARE AN ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE, both placement and melting! They are adorable, but damn do they suck to make. Oi!
Sans broke? How? Like at his neck area? Did you do the normal in-game sprite or did you alter it some?
Heheh You totally need to make a Jerry!

Haha that sounds fair
Right?? The melting process is the WORST. I really can understand how mad you got. I too consider myself calm and collected, but when something you've spent HOURS on breaks apart in front of your very eyes.... that's frustrating lol.
Haha, no Mew was only about the size of the plattform i made it on, which was big for me XD But I spent a lot of time modifying it and shading it so I was so upset! Oh well! He was fixed up and now he functions as a fridge magnet
(These were done by me and my hubby three years ago. I've made quite a bit of progress since then, but it's the only picture I have )
Tiny perlers are all we work with, as we think they result is so much nicer than with middle sized ones. But yeah, they can be very difficult. Especially when they get stuck into the pincers or you drop certain colors in the wrong container!! And when I'm melting them, I'm always so afraid to melt the plattform so I'm super careful with the iron which is why they usually break for me, gah!
Half off Sans' head, and shoulder broke haha Poor dude. And Alphys got too flat and all crooked I used the original sprites, but I tweaked them a little bit to my own liking.

Oh, that explains it then. You're working with tinies! Damn, I have to give you props: they look pretty good for tinies. I see you had the same trouble I did of uneven melting. It's like we need a tiny iron to make it work! Heheh Speaking of colors and containers, do you buy them separated at the higher price or mixed at the lower price? I'm curious.
OMG, I have the same worry of melting the tiny pegboards. I've noticed they do get warped from being so close to the heat, but thankfully none have melted yet! Woot!
Do you melt both sides so the beads don't "wiggle"? I do on the tinies, but not on the normies. I have a different melting process for the them. It makes them shiny!
And very durable. You'd have to physically cut them for them to break. Only downside I've seen is that they can get a lil warpy if you're not careful with them. I've got a cat that happened too. It's just a warpy mess! lolol
I can't do it with the tinies though because the extreme heat just distorts and warps them. It sucks! My cheat code doesn't work for them!
OMG, POOR SANS! THAT BOY HAS SEEN THINGS! Was it his right side? Did he become Geno? HAHAHAH I'm horrible, I'm sorry! Many ketchups for him!
Alphys's issue sounds familiar to me. Was it a certain color just not melting right or did ya have that annoying issue where the outer beads get melted, but the inner ones are still loose? I HATE THAT! GGGGRRRRR!

RIGHT? Tiny irons would be perfect for these kinds of things! I usually buy them color sorted, because I have to ship them to me from Denmark most of the time so it's going to cost more anyway. If I randomly see a mixed bag in the crafting store I wouldn't mind buying that though! Tinies are not that common here. Most people buy medium ones, because it's the average and most popular size. But there aren't many colors to choose from either, unless you order specific ones.
Haha I once ruined one half of a pegboard, and then I forgot about it until I started up a new project. I didn't notice the pegboard was melted until I got quite far with the motive XD XD
And I melt both sides, just to be safe haha XD
And omg that is so pretty!! They do look shinier! How do you do that?
I love that whole picture! It's so adorable! I can imagine that your sister was thrilled to receive it! (I would have been!)
CURSE THEM TINIES, FOR NOT BEING COOPERATIVE WHEN IT COMES TO MELTING!!
Hm, if I remember correctly, it was on his left side... I think XD Either way, he happily accepts the ketchup!!
I think Al was messed up because when I melted her I ironed one side for too long XD I had had it with melting them for too little, so I got carried away
... God I hate melting them DX For me it's usually the other way around though XD The middle part is fine, while the edges get fucked up. But at least it's easier to fix than if it would have gotten ruined in the middle.

Aw man! Speaking of tiny, look at this ! That's some patience right there! I totally think tiny irons exist now! lol
Ah, do you order them off the website? You're talking the tinies don't have many colors right? Ya, that's another downside to them. You'd think they'd have just as many colors as the mediums. Have you worked any with the biggies? I haven't, but I think they have even fewer colors. lolol
LOLZ! You melted the other side to make it even? THAT'S FUNNY! Heheh To be honest, I probably would of done the same thing. >u<
Thankies! Heheh, ya she liked it alright. This lil guy here kinda stole some of its glory though.
She REALLY liked him!
Oh yes! He can have all the ketchup he wants! Poor bae! There's gotta be a more efficient way to melt these things! hmmm...I must ponder!

Oh good Lord no! I wouldn't get past cutting the tiny chunks of chicken! lolol TOO SQUISHY! I'd rather deal with tiny perlers at that point.
Oooohhhh, you use hamabeads instead of perlerbeads. That's what was throwing me off. Lol I heard hama beads are good quality, but I didn't know their colors were limited. That sucks! How limited are they? Am I going to have to convert you to Perler ? heheh
If you're interested, here's a special they have when you buy so many of the medium ones. Not sure if there's one for the tinies or not.
They also sell larger bags of 6000, but colors are limited in the larger bags. Here's all the colors in the medium size
The glow in the dark and clear blue beads are my favs. Heheh If you do decide to go Perler, you'll probably need to buy some of their pegboards. I don't think perlers fit right on the hama boards. I feel like I read that somewhere...
Yuppers, tis crochet! Heheh Thankies! This lil guy is an art form called Amigurumi: the creation of dolls or objects through crochet or knit. I personally love crocheted desserts. Crocheted desserts with kawaii faces are even better!
You can totally learn if you're interested. Youtube is where I learned to do it. Just learn some of the basic stitches and you'll be on your way!
