ALRIGHTY!!^O^My first art trade on the list is offically DONE!^_^V
Meet Toren! Toren is "character"....more like a guide than a character...but it's a long story, and something I feel should not be explained here^_^;;;
I consider this to be a quicky pic and is an example of the kind of work I will be doing for any and all art trades I make, as I need to conserve my supplies for commission work and it just takes less time to do...as my time is a bit precious to me lately^^;;;
Done in pencil, Prismacolour Markers, coloured pencil, white acrylic highlights all on cheap ole photocopy paper!^_^V

Just curious, what kind of holy sacred colored pencils do you use? This is awesome, esp. for something quick, I couldn't do something like this if I spent months on it.....

um...I start out with a pencil line sketch....colour that in with Prismacolour markers...then outline with coloured pencils^^
I use regular ole Crayola coloured pencils!^_^V

MEOW!!! =^_^= He's a cutie!!! I love the shine on his hair and eyes! ...and these backgrounds are too cool! For a " quicky" it sure looks fantastic to me! I very much like how you kept the penciled sketch lines. It gives a nice flow to the pic. Great work Bettina!!! Perhaps someday in the future when there is less on your plate (and mine, heh ^o^) you would consider a trade with me???

Yuuu are soooo godly, but I bet you already knew that. Such pretty colors. I like the watercolor-ness, especially on the skin. It's such nice quality, I keep thinking it's CG. I love your style, especially how you draw faces. And such pretty hands!!! I like the bg, simple as it is. Such pretty colors... His hair is suuu shiny. Damn, I bet Toren's happy. Purdy pendant...

His hair is soooo YUMMY!! Seriously, the first thing I thought when i saw that was, "Gummi WORMS!!" you know...the red and orange kind? lol um...k...now that i've made an idiot of myself... VERY nice. I love how everything is so textured and shiny.
