The suspense, oh it's too much! 
I just had the uh-oh inducing thought, "what if Will actually knows this mink, or recognizes him somehow when they finally face off? What if they both fought in the war or something?" 
Great job with the pantomiming in these last few pages; you've done a wonderful job laying out the events of these last few pages.
