Description
One area, of many believe you me, I've been working on is drawing big, brute men. It was suggested that I look into Conan The Barbarian. I did and was happy to see there were many references. I did a some study drawings of some of the artists that drew him way back to the 70s. I got drawn to this one artist... Rudy Nebres. He had a nice rendering style. What I have here is a feeble attempt, but it's a beginning I guess and a chance to learn something new that I can continue to use and incorporate into my own I hope into something new and good, for me atleast.There's talk of a new Conan movie. I'm in!

A new Conan? This was one of my dad's favs. I hope they do a good job on it.
Great drawing. I've always loved the rough texture shading with lines like this. It gives a nice rough feel, especially great for warriors and barbarians.

Yup, and that's why my manager has me doing these. He can't wait for the movie too. Me, I gotta catch up with what's going on with this dude. Belit and Red Nails seems to be the priority.
