So while agonizing over the woes of digital inking I looked to YouTube for some SAI videos to see how skilled artists do their lineart.I still don't get it.
The fact that every video was 5x speed didn't help either, but all that quickity made me want to attempt to ink like I -think- the other artists did. I think I failed, bwop.
So I spat this out in a little under an hour. I dunno. Whatchu guys think? Am I just overstressing about lineart? And that lineart doesn't -have- to be robotically crisp and smooth to make a good overall image? Is that growth on my butt malignant?

lol, some tutorials really don't help at all. That's basically why I only look up the basics and then just try shit - and despair if I can't figure out the rest 
So you use SAI now, too? It's a great program for lineart I think, photoshop (at least my version) makes it hard to get un-wobbly lines. SAI's option to edit your lines by dragging certain parts is a lifesaver sometimes.
And the curve tool can make so wonderfully smooth lines ^.^
uhm... I should actually comment on the drawing, right?
I like the hair A LOT and the shading looks really nice - although I wouldn't have put such a big shade on the very top of her head since the light source seems to be above
Also I'm always amazed when hands actually look like hands

Logically yes. I just can't help but wonder sometimes whether there's some technique or tidbit of knowledge that greater talent posseses though. In all the videos I've seen -no one- does it like me either so I wonder all the more.
