Description Ugh. Today was not a good day. I mean in a normal way the day was fine. My head was really trying to kill me though. when I first started trying to train my quirk, which had ended up with countless amounts of shredded soda cans and small gashes in my walls, my headaches had been getting worse and worse. Most of the time they're gone after I wake up, but then there are days like this. Where I can take a couple of pills every few hours and it still won't go away.

Which isn't to great when trying to take a test. Especially when it could make or break my entrance into U.A. Oh right today was the admissions test day. Which was why I was sprinting down the street like I was on fire. I had woken up to my alarm blaring right into my ear where it was then destroyed because I was in pain. Which didn't help either. It wasn't until almost a half hour of lying down waiting for my headache to go away that I remembered what day it was.

I dressed myself as fast as I could in a plain grey jacket, a simple pair of jeans, a (S/F/C) shirt and a (F/C) scarf wrapped around my neck. Son of a- reaching into my jacket pocket I pulled out my bottle, popped a few pills and forced 'em down my dry, burning throat. Soon enough though my sprints had ended with my hands on my knees, taking huge deep breaths, which I then coughed back up, and standing next to the navy arch way of Yuuei Academy.

Despite the sweat in my eyes, hair stuck to my forehead, cheeks and neck, and the fire my lungs were engulfed in, I couldn't help but be in awe at the magnificent building in front of me. The building itself didn't look too special to be honest. It was very tall with windows everywhere, as if the whole thing was just glass. It kind of looked like an "H" with the glass in the metal connecting the two buildings. Though tilting my head slightly I was able to see two more glass towers behind the fist two.

From looks alone it didn't look like much, I mean there were schools that looked more impressive, but none of them had the reputation of U.A. It was almost suffocating seeing such a plain-ish place be the best of the best. Wow it was really suffocating. Almost painfully so.

In my confusion I heard a voice yelling at me, "Breath or you'll die!" A hand slapped me across the back, forcing me to gasp out in shock. Only to realize that my throat was in even more pain causing me to breath in rabidly, which was a double edged sword. I was so focused on the academy I actually forgot to breath.

It has not been my day. "Th-Th-Thank you," I managed to spew out in my coughing fit. Looking over my shoulder I saw the person that had saved me from myself. Jagged blonde hair was what I saw first, followed by the single jagged streak of black in their hair. Looking at his face I realized he was a boy about as tall as me I think. His black hoodie was unzipped showing this bright yellow shirt. The hem of both fell over the waist of his black pants.

His pale face changed from a look of mild concern to this large grin that stretched from ear to ear. He held a thumb up as his eyes closed. "No problem," he started off, "Well it could have been a problem. It looked like you were about to pass out. Your face all purple and I just did the first thing I could think of."

As my breathing evened out I stood up straight and saw that I was right about him being the same height as me. "Well thanks again," I said, "I really appreciate the help. Especially since it wouldn't really be good to pass out before the test."

His face lit up in surprise before another smile formed. "Oh. You're trying to get into U.A. too?" I was a bit confused since I wasn't sure what other reason a kid my age could have been there for, but I nodded in response. He seemed a little excited at that, "That's cool. Since we're both going to U.A., I'm Kaminari Denki."

Whoa. He seems pretty confident in himself. With a slight smile I introduced myself in kind. "I'm (Y/N) (Y/L/N). Though we should probably hurry to the entrance ceremony." Was it really an entrance ceremony if we weren't enrolled? I honestly had no idea but what I said did what I wanted.

His golden eyes widened before he took off in front of me, yelling back a quick "See ya." I soon followed after him in a mild jog forcing myself to ignore my headache as I walked through large glass doors. I really didn't know where I was supposed to go so I simply followed after a mass of bodies. Luckily enough the people I followed entered a huge auditorium.

There were too many seats as far as I could see but almost every seat was taken by potential students. My eyes traveled across the seats before they landed on an empty seat next to a girl that looked really pretty. Her long black hair was tied into a large spiky ponytail with some bangs falling beside her right equally dark eye. She was wearing a simple black jacket and red skirt that ended far north of her knees.

Excusing myself as I passed by a few people already seated I ended up just in front of the empty seat. "Is this seat taken," I asked a little loud so she could hear me over the unyielding amount of voices that bounced off each other.

Thankfully she heard my and I could see her bright white skin as she stared up at me. Looking to the seat I meant she shook her. "No it isn't," she said before looking back to the single stage at the bottom of this pit like auditorium. Nodding slightly to her words I quickly sat down and waited for everything to start.

As the last person sat down I looked down at the stage to the source of a voice that had somehow cut through the chatter. Though this man was ignored. His hair was impossibly spiked up in some sort of hair knife. A pair of headphones were strapped to his head and a pair of bright orange sunglasses blocked his eyes from view.

Around his neck was some sort of... speaker system? The speakers were surrounded by the black popped collar of his jacket. On his shoulders were some sort of padding and his palms were covered by black fingerless gloves. Black pants and boots finished off his attire.

He seemed to look at the people that were still talking before he called out again. But much MUCH louder. As everyone quickly stopped talking, the loud man introduced himself, "Hello everyone and welcome to the Yuuei Academy Entrance Exam! I am Present Mic and I'll be explaining the test to you all!" Wow a pro hero. I guess I shouldn't have been surprised all things considered but it was really cool that our instructor for this test was a pro hero. Even if he sort of sounded like some radio host.

"I am so happy," he started loudly, "that so many young aspiring heroes are here today; however, though you all have taken the written test, today's practical exam will truly test you! Now please if all of you would reach under your seats let's get it going!"
With a single quirked eyebrow I reached under my seat and felt a piece of paper. Pulling it out I saw four blacked out pictures surrounding a picture of some skyscrapers. My brows furrowed in confusion. Behind Present Mic a massive screen lit up with one of the blacked out pictures.

"All of you will be tested on your ability to defeat villains." His loud voice forced me to place a hand against my forehead as he continued. "Each villain is given a number which represents how many points it's worth! The villains are worth 1, 2, or 3 points! So basically get as many points as you can!"

Three? So then wh- "Excuse me! I have a question! You say that the maximum number of points we can get per villain are three, so then why are there four outlines?" Oh okay so they were confused too. Looking around I couldn't see the person that asked the question so I just looked in the general direction of their clearly male voice.

Present Mic was quick to answer, "That's because one of the villain's isn't worth any points! It's merely a distraction in the field! You shouldn't bother yourselves with it!"
Hm. "Thank you sir. And also," the boy added, "You up there. You've been mumbling this whole time. It's very distracting."

"Now," Present Mic yelled getting everyone's attention,"along with those villain sheets you'll find a number on the back! That determines what field your exam will take place!" Turning the paper over I saw a large number five. Looking over I saw that the girl was in two. "Now that you all know where to go you better get going!" As soon as those words left him large groups of people stood up and started running out of the auditorium.

I waited a few minutes before following suit and making my way towards the exit. Stepping out into the hall I headed back outside, but not before seeing a lot of people leaving the restrooms in some sort of gym clothing. Oh. I was in such a rush I didn't think of grabbing a change of clothes.

Looking down I decided what I had would be fine. I didn't need a whole lot of free movement anyway. Following a large group of people I saw a large sign pointing off towards exam field five. Splitting off from that group I ended up in another group of people standing in front of the huge doors of a large walled off area.

So this was it. It wouldn't be long before those do- oh crap they opened. For a while nobody moved until Present Mic yelled out, "You should all be following that kid! You don't have very long!" After that just about everyone around me started running as fast as they could through the huge doors.

My legs carried me as fast as they could. Around me a lot of people had already destroyed some of the villains, which were just large robots. Some were smashed into the pavement of the downtown like area of the field while some were just in parts. That makes this easier then. Running past a lot of people I saw my first intact robot. The metal was green while the bot itself was kind of simple. What stood out was the large white number one on the side.

It's mechanical head whirred to me before it started to roll towards me on its treads. I stopped a good deal in front of it before bringing my right arm across my chest. My hand straight as if I was about to karate chop it. Pointing my right shoulder towards it my arm chopped in front of me with a small yell.. My left hand both closed and not closed stopped in front of my right shoulder; my left arm pointing towards my hip as my right arm was stretched out.

Nothing happened, for about half a second. When that time passed a huge large blue curve appeared almost out of nowhere and flew towards the robot. The large curve of blue wind was big. A bit too big. It grew in size as it dashed forward carving into the concrete buildings until it finally sliced its way clean through the one point robot. It wasn't long after that the wind dissipated. Maybe a second or two.

Once the robot's upper half was gone I made a mad dash forward to look for more robots. The ones I saw around the corners I had seen my robot come out of were destroyed though. But from what I could see, considering no one else was on this street and the way these had been cut, they were collateral. I'd say oops, but not from the points these got me. I had consciously destroyed a one pointer. My collateral damage was three one pointers, two two pointers, and two three pointers. 16 points from a single attack, granted 15 points were an accident but whatever.

Shaking my head I ran past street after street without seeing any robots intact. Taking a hard left I felt the round rumble all around, but I ignored it. Looking down the street, about a block over, people were running back towards the entrance of the zone. I understood why when I got to that street.

There was a bunch of robotic carnage, all around me there were nothing but destroyed robots, but when I looked to my right, I saw everyone was running from. In front of me was a gigantic robot. It took up the entire street and it was far taller than any of the buildings. They said four robots were here and there were ones worth nothing. THIS was the zero pointer!?

On its massive metal face were red light eyes in some kind of X shape. It was moving pretty fast so no wonder everyone was bolting. And I honestly would have had not been for some person standing in front of its path of destruction; unmoving. Why weren't they running. That thing was huge, there was no way they could stop it.

But they didn't move at all. Didn't run. Didn't try and stop it. Just stood there. Before I knew what I was doing I was running in the opposite direction of stream of bodies running from the robot. I really don't know why I ran towards it but I did it anyway. By the time I got to the person all I saw was a headless tracksuit.

If I wasn't more focused on the robot I would have been very confused, but instead all I could do was stand in front of the person and push on their shoulders. The shoulders were a bit small as was their body. Despite my best efforts even if I could push this person in the right direction, they turned my head with an invisible hand.

The giant robot was only half a block away. Even if I could pick this person up I wouldn't fast enough on my own, I'd be even slower with added weight. And whoever this was clearly did not have some sort of strength or speed quirk, so my options were very limited. Either hope and pray someone would come and save us. Or I had to save us.

Turning my body to face the robot I took a few forward steps. I straightened and clapped my hands in front of me before bringing them above my head. Bending my hands behind my head I quickly sliced the air in front of me. It was longer this time. For a couple of seconds nothing happened, but then it came. This blue blade of wind made my last one look small by comparison. It cut through the air and moved forward, making contact with the zero pointer.

But as big as it was it was the same result with the other robots. The blade cut vertically through the robot, slicing straight through to the other side. The cut was at least a few feet wide. For a few seconds I stood there with my head throbbing in absolute agony. The creak of metal made me focus on what was a working robot just a few seconds ago.

My wind finally dissipated and the two side heavy pieces of machine fell to the left and right. The massive shockwave of the robot shook me to the round as I sat in surprise. Despite being worth no points I just destroyed the massive robot. Present Mic's voice cut through to me. "And that's it times up!"

I was happy for a second, but what he said brought me back. Despite destroying the largest robot in this whole test, it wasn't worth any points. And so I finished the practical exam of Yuuei Academy with only 16 points.

It had been a couple weeks since then and I had yet to hear anything from U.A. I mean even if I was rejected, which was turning out to be more and more likely, a rejection letter would be better than this hellish limbo. I didn't really remember what happened after the test ended. My headache had gotten so bad that I had passed out and when I woke up in the infirmary, the old nurse, who was apparently Recovery Girl the pro hero, asked me what happened and then sent me off.

Walking up to the P.O. Boxes of the apartment building I used my key and grabbed the mail. When I got back inside I flipped through the mail only to find a letter from U.A. This was it. Tossing the rest of the mail on the small coffee table in front of me, I slowly opened the letter. Instead of a letter I pulled out a small grey disk.

I placed it on the coffee table in confusion, but when I pressed the top light burst from it. "HELLO! It is I, speaking to you through a hologram!" In front of me was a hologram of the symbol of peace. The number one hero in the world. All Might. Despite the large yellow pinstripe suit he wore, he was what I always imagined he would look like in person. Granted he wasn't in person, but still. His blonde hair which stood up. The large grin and his shadowed eyes.

All Might was really in the video. And he was talking to me! "(Y/N) (Y/L/N) during your performance during the practical exam you only managed to get 16 points. Which sadly is not enough." I knew it. I knew it. "Which is what I would have said had it not been for your rescue points!" Huh? Rescue points? "You see it is not only catching or defeating villains that defines a hero! There are many factors to becoming a hero, and risking your life to save someone else's is one of them."

Rescue points... "Take a look for yourself." Suddenly the screen changed to a scoreboard and on it were the top ten students. And I was one of them. I got second! 16 villain points and 60 rescue points. I missed the top spot by only two points... But I did it. "Congratulations young man! Yuuei will now be your Academia!" With a total score of 76 points I was accepted into Yuuei Academy.

Why not multiple endings? It’d take more time to do, but it’s nice to think about.

I wouldn’t mind the reader ending up with the guys either- but that’s just me.

It will be explained more later on. But at base yes. It may be a bit simple, but it doesn't need to be overly complicated or something of the sort. Just something simple like this can be amazing.

Great.

Cut the annoying kid with the 'sticky balls'. -_-

Asui Please.

Momo got in on a recommendation, she didn't have to take the test.

Great chapter. I would like to see Momo Yaoyorozu as the choice. And if i'm honest i would like Koji Koda to be out. Mainly because he doesn't talk and i feel is left out compared to Rikido Sato, at least he has some lines.

if I have to choose one of them Rikido Sato I like him but his quirk Sugar Rush is funny but kind of average but I have to ask why these two and not someone like Yuga Aoyama as far as I have seen in the series he isn't all that important to the story and all he provides to it is honestly some pretty bad comedy relief.
