Description

Edit: WHY IS THIS THING SO POPULARRRRRR?????????

Yeah, I don't know how I thought of this...

The idea of the comic is that Duskus randomly shows up at the infamous Aika Village from Animal Crossing: New Leaf, barges in on Aika's birthday party uninvited, tears the head off the possessed doll, and leaves Aika emotionally scarred. But it was all for JUSTICE! That doll wanted to kill people!

I don't think that the doll killed Aika's parents. The idea that the doll was evil/possessed and was jealous of everything Aika loved is popular, however I think that the doll represents Aika herself. I think that Aika was neglected as a child, the father left after being cheated on (the room with the statues represents temptation (also the woman statue is fake)) and the mother did not care for the child properly due to the problems she was having with her husband (the maze with all the pitfalls represents misguidance). Aika tried everything to make her mother happy (all the books represent her studying and the piano represents her wanting to excel in extracurricular activities also) but to no avail. I think that Aika blamed herself for her mother's death (and her father's absence) due to the way she scribbles herself out in the drawings. I think this is because she was the one who killed her mother after becoming insane (we can tell by the way her speech develops through each Aika).Β

But that's just my theory.Β

Cute comic though!!Β

Yup, this made the most sense if you put all the pieces together.

I wish there was more fanart for the story. It's really touching.

You know I was thinking of doing the same thing to that doll. I was creeped out when I visited this village the first time. I think that doll killed Akia's parents espeacilly her mom... poor Akia.

I love this drawing by the way. Are you planing on adding more to this comic strip? Curious as to what could happen next.
