i often tried explaining to people that if cartoons were not so cartoony, they would be freakish. the only example i had to fall back on in my younger days was "itchy and scratchy" from the simpsons. but this exemplifies the point brilliantly. such an endearing animation.... known by millions... but when considered as a realistic world scenario, mickey mouse seems kinda evil, and his world is quite terrifying if you found yourself trapped there.
