Hey Gwyn! Unfortunately I don't have the original sai file, so I can't provide their png or their ref on the official JBD lines. However I do have the full resolution version of the image above!

I'm sorry I couldn't do more, but I hope this helps!

Story: Once upon a time, there was a family of giants. They lived in a castle in the sky with their pet dragon, Stewart. The young giant, who in human years was around twelve, adored his dragon to no end. So when one day Stewart went missing, his owner, Jake, was very, very upset. “No need to worry,” said his mother, “He’ll probably come back while you’re at school.”

He did not.

Jake couldn’t pay attention to what his teacher was saying. History was a boring class for most, but Jake liked it. Normally cloud-sailing pirates and brave adventures spoke to his imagination. But how could he think about the famous boot-wearing cat when his best friend was missing?

After a week of “I’m sure he’ll turn up”, Jake had decided to go looking for him. Nothing would change his mind. He packed a lunch and slipped out of the door, and as it was a school day, his parents thought nothing of it. But where the other giant children turned left, Jake turned right, down the path to the beanstalk.

Now Jake had never gone this way. He had never seen the thick vine leading down into the human world and didn’t plan to go down into the land of small yet powerful beings. But a twist of fate, or rather a twisted vine that tripped him lead him into the one place he didn’t think Stewart was. Down, down, and down farther still he fell, till he hit the ground with a great thwack. Barely conscious, he crawled into a fairly large barn and passed out.

Now imagine the shock of going into you’re barn to find a giant sleeping there. The young boy, Jack, who lived in the house next to the barn, felt that feeling when he went to give his horse Diamond her nightly snack. He dropped the hay right under Jake’s nose. This did not make him sneeze, but it did wake him. The two just stared at each other for a long while. Finally, Jack asked, “What are you doing in my barn?” “I was looking for my dragon when I… fell.” said Jake uncertainly. “If you were anyone else I wouldn’t believe you. But you are you, and I can’t argue with that. A dragon, you say? What’s its name?” “Stewart.” “Is it emerald green with a gold spot around its left eye?” “How did you…” “I think your dragon landed in my field last week.” “That’s when I lost him! Can you take me to him?” “Of course. But you must tell be about how you got here.”

It was a long walk, about an hour. You may think of giants as taller than skyscraper beasts, but Jake was only ten feet tall. When Jake saw Stewart, he ran and hugged him. “I can never thank you enough, Jack.” Jake said through joyful tears. Jack smiled. “Anytime.”

THE END

To whomever this may be,

I regret to inform you, but your history needs correcting. I stumbled upon a "Fairy-Tale" book that should quite honestly be burned and rewritten so it may be called a "History" book and back in the classrooms in which it belongs. There is so much rubbish out and about of this whiny, useless princess being trapped by a savage, beastly dragon while she crankily, lazily waits to be rescued by the likes of tiny, puny human prince. (Who do humans think they are? A dragon vs. a human? It is even a question?) Anyways, I will briefly relay half of this very much true story of the dragon and the princess. The whole of it may be too much if you are, in fact, just anther human. And so we begin:

This story begins during a long forgotten time in a long forgotten castle-- a classic touch to any passed on fable. A snobbish princess stomped to and fro throughout her kingdom. Her constant complaining could send the ears of a cow off for cover while her rude, unruly demeanor send event the most thuggish of men dashing away to avoid her peevish behavior. This princess was entirely selfish and unhealthily arrogant and, honestly, was hardly a princess at all.

So, finally (never soon enough though), when her mother and father had their last straws snatched by their ungrateful daughter when her bed was not warm enough to her content, they sent her away.

In short, she was sent to a school to become prim, proper, and effectively disciplined (in mouth and mind hah). However, she came back earlier than expected. The king and queen were quite relieved to have their daughter back at home when they received the note that she was sent back simply because she was unteachable and "bent in her way forevermore."

Well that certainly did not go over too well with the monarchs so away and away she went. Each time sent back with a more agitated and condescending attitude. (She threatened to buy her own castle and start a life somewhere else-- as if, pfft.)

Well the royal couple came down to their last, very last straw and summoned a small, local witch that had been granted home in the woodlands. If you haven't guessed already, the witch made a bargain and the girl was cursed. The princess's selfish and fat attitude towards the public seemed an excellent opportunity to curse her with a dragon bond. She was given an egg and made to turn into a dragon if a living being outside of her kind was present within a certain amount of ground.

The egg was to hatch a dragon she must tame before her curse is broken. Being a mother is hard enough, but one of a wild dragon? May as well raise a bonfire in the middle of your nice, wooden home.

That's all of the tale I can tell now; I'm running out of time and out of light. The princess need only rescue herself from her own ill manors and, well, a dragon as well.

I do hope you found this delightful. It is always interesting giving my part of the story.

Sincerely,

An old hatchling

Art/Text: There was this really sweet little girl she was tired and wanted to get some rest. She stumbled upon a home and knocked there was no answer. The door was unlocked she went inside and there were three chairs one being fairly to big, the other to uncomfortable, but the last just right. Accompanied by that sitting on the table was three bowls of soup. Well what she thought was soup and it tasted like soup. She ate all three bowls of soup and accidentally broke the small chair. Getting up dusting herself off she yawned and went upstairs to be greeted with three beds of varying sizes. She tested the first one yet again it was to big for her, she tested the next one it was to uncomfortable, and the last one she laid in was just right. She fell asleep for a while and when she woke up was greeted by three vampires. Panicked she ran out the door running for her life.

(I hope u don't mind it's a comment instead of like the other user I've been off of DA for so long).

Brontë mixes the crumbling dough, gently collecting the flakes of dough toward the middle of the bowl with the tips of his fingers. The corners of his mouth are tight as he starts to press his small fist into the dough, kneading vigorously.
"Angry, Brontë?"

The kneading pauses then starts again with hesitance. His fists unfurl as they start folding in the dough.
"I don't get it."
"What?"

He flips the bowl over, patting the bowl before lifting it up. Brontë flashes a quick smile as the dough settles but immediately purses his lips as he continues his thoughts.
"All the adults are so mean."
Brontë patters down the step-stool and tugs at the cook's apron, pointing to the high cabinet when he catches her gaze. In one graceful swoop, she opens the cabinet, grabs the flour, and hands it to him. He swipes it out of h
