Interesting. I'm surprised the weight of the cannon doesn't cause the back end of the canoe to stick out of the water. Certainly if he attempted to fire it (not that he appears to have any of the necessary ammo or equipment) but if it were fired it would blast itself off the back of the boat probably flipping the vessel over in the process.
