I won't lie I'm pretty pleased with this one. It looks very natural, to my eye.Watercolor and a tiny bit of white gouache.

Fantastic, just beautiful to look at. You are right, the colours and composition do feel very natural. I'm actually surprised how dense and saturated the watercolours look, it did appear to me to be oil paint at first sight. Amazing work, in any case! (:

Glad you like it . I tend to work in many layers, and that promotes saturation. And in this painting beside watercolors, I used bits of white gouache to create varied texture.
